I'm a small town, old lady and so I've had to go without different ingredients and such because I try to avoid the larger towns where you have good variety. That's one of the great things about Amazon or any online shopping - it can be done from the comfort of your home or wherever you are! I had no idea how delicious and how versatile this flavoring is, but I don't want to be without it any more! You can use it in very different dishes - both sweet and savory. I started out putting it in recipes that called for it, but I enjoy the flavor so much that I've been trying it in more and more foods! Try it in Nice Cream, Greek yogurt, scrambled eggs, waffle batter - just enjoy it!

What can I say, I use this in cooking and our local super market doesn't carry it, so I ordered in online . Good prices Great product, fast delivery.

Excellent flavor! A little expensive but my local markets no longer carry out so I was willing to pay. Would be nice if it came in a glass bottle.

Tamicon USDA Organic Tamarind Paste is so good for whatever you might need it for in your culinary journey. I put it in many of my noodle dishes along with soy marinade and soy paste. They bring up the flavor of pepper steak too. I make some spicey noodles that uses it too and Bam! Tasty!

Item was not sealed properly, product had leaked out of the jar and lid was not tight. It also has a sticker on it that says "New Item". This is a food product, and I would certainly hope that goes without saying. My goodness...do you sell this used?

Good value. A little goes a long way. The taste was too bitter and sour for me. Kind of had a slight lemony flavor. I used a lot of sweetener ad drank it like iced tea. It was ok once I used the sweetener. I bought it for the health benefits, its supposed to be really good for you.

A fantastically sour bottle of thin tamarind sauce that's easy to add to dishes if you don't always have time to make the sauce from pulp. Goes in stir fries like pad thai and into soups for a great sour kick. I also tend to use this in place of vinegar in some dishes as well as I prefer the flavor.

We were in Mexico a few years ago and got hooked on these tamarind margaritas from the resort. Attempting to recreate these delicious margaritas, we bought this tamarind paste aaaand I have to say, the margaritas with this tamarind paste are so much better than the resorts. So worth it. We will be a repeat customer for sure
