Best incense ever. I've used many scents in this brand & it's my favorite. Not overpowering & the size is great.

This incense is excellent for those looking for a reliable scent. I mean this morning star set gives you exactly what it claims to give. If you bought frankincense, you will get frankincense. If you bought a cedarwood, this is exactly what it will smell like. Japanese incense usually has a very sophisticated smell and very subtle nuances, which is what makes it luxurious and high quality. This is not the case here. The incense has no natural scent, you can smell the essential oils well (which I believe are natural, like all Nippon Kodo products). This is a great everyday incense.

I really like that this incense doesn't have a core to it. I like to break them into smaller pieces sometimes for a shorter burn time. All three scents are great, I highly recommend.

I really love this brand of incense as they smell beautiful and lack an unpleasant smoky odor that some brands have. I usually purchase the Patchouli but opted for something different and with a variety of scents. My only complaint is that they don’t seem as strongly scented as the Patchouli, especially the Green Tea.

Relaxing fragrance and a clean burn. I enjoy lighting these prior to going to sleep in a special protected burning plate. The aroma relaxes me to go to sleep. They're not a strong perfume scent like the stick style incense are. they burn clean and nothing left behind but ash. No stick to throw away.

One scent my favorite and two new to try. My favorite I love, of course. One new one I like. One new one I might give away. This is an excellent product. Small sticks. Very little smoke and ash. Nice amount of scent. Not overwhelming in smaller spaces. Each box contains a tiny tile incense holder. About 1/2” square.

Have used this brand of incense for years. Quite nice, and never cloying aromas.

This is a trio of grown-up and somewhat serious fragrances from the great Nippon Kodo. You may not know this, but each box always contains a little ceramic holder for the wood-free sticks. As ever, you'll need to place the whole thing on a plate or other non-flammable surface, to catch the falling ash, but Japanese incense is always worth exploring.
