This stuff is great! definitely keeps piping down line from overheating. Once you pack it on it is a little tough to get it all off, but not a real issue

Super impressed with this product. Definitely work to keep heat away from filter drier. I've seen some videos where you can use actual wet rags. I prefer to have this and keep it in welding pack. Putty is reusable and has been good for me.

I use this all the time on my air conditioning jobs. It keeps everything cooler to prevent anything downstream from heating up. Great because it’s reusable I just peel it off the surface and put it back in the container.

It works well but removing and reusing it is a bit dicey. The burned material is difficult to separate from the good portions so it doesn't stay in place well on next brazes. Even wetting my hands slightly to reform or regenerate the material it just gets harder to work with.

It does exactly what it says and helps protect what you don't want getting extremely hot. Ive used similar products, but the fact this is reusable puts this ahead of them

Holds water, molds well to an eccentric surface, and keeps refrigerant valves cooler during brazing. Worked well on the liquid line repair job that I bought it for. Would recommend and use in conjunction with a wet rag to get the best cooling.
