I've bought a few motors from this seller and have never had issues with any of them. I bought this for use with a DIY project that's still in a prototype phase. So while I can't speak to the reliability of this motor in constant running time, I have had to connect this to batteries and my lab bench power supply on occasion and the motor has started up and ran fine every time. And this is why I mentioned I've bought motors from this seller prior: All of my other motors are still running just fine with no issues at all, and one is even run in less than ideal conditions. I'm confident that once I get my project failures sorted out and get this motor running in a complete project, it will last a very long time with no issues.

Hot glued a socket to the end and this is what I use to anneal my brass before reloading.

I previously reported how I liked the motor but the rotation direction was not as shown. After studying the detail drawing I now understand. The drawing shows the shaft rotation direction is shown from the REAR. This seems quite ridiculous. The shaft rotation should be shown with the shaft in display.

Great little motor. Good torque also, just be sure to pick the right balance between speed and torque for your application.

So as the title says, I've now purchased (and tested) a total of 4 of these now. They work super well running 24/7 at least for the past few days (on 12v, 2amp power supplies). I have noticed though that the sound varies drastically from motor to motor. While a couple are fairly quite, the others are slightly noisy to really noise, having rattling or just loud motor sounds. It's about 50/50 with the ones I got (2 quiet, 2 quite loud). I kind of wish they were all as quiet as the quieter ones. One in particular is very loud. Not as loud as a paper shredder or anything, but louder than the others for sure.

I bought this motor because it meets all the specs that I need for my project. I have not been able to connect it yet because the terminals are VERY SMALL. I have all the common electrical connectors. The smallest connector I have is 22-16 ga, (RED). A red female disconnect spade is too bid. Like, twice as big as these terminals. You will need a female spade for a 30-24 ga terminal. Good luck. Or, plan to solder your connections.

I setup this motor to rotate my bowls on the tailstock of my lathe so I could paint resin on them while turning. Lathe speed was way too fast at slowest speed so I built my own turner. 30 rpm had just the right amount of torqe to do the job. Motor runs for about 3 hrs while resin sets up.

Bought this 30 rpm DC motor and eagerly awaited delivery - just to realize it doesn’t work. Defective piece very likely… Calling amazon for an exchange to another piece

Optisch wertig, aber selbst ohne Last extrem laut. Ich habe mir nun noch einen zum Vergleich bestellt. Sollte der ebenfalls so laut sein, gehen beide zurück. Ich hätte für den Preis mehr erwartet.
