Love this shoe
Love this. You’ll get a year out of it or more if you don’t move around lot. It’s comfy, thin in a good way.

Coming apart
EDIT: The sellers replaced the boots and the new ones have held up wonderfully. Amazing customer service and nice boots at a decent price, I changed my 2 star rating to a 5. I buy these boots for my children who are in JROTC. They are light weight and comfortable for their running events. This is the 3rd pair I've bought. They usually last a year with a lot of hard/active wear, which for the price is well worth it. However, this is the first pair that after 1 run, the metal prongs at the shoelace hole came off, the soles are coming apart and 1 rope climb wore a chunk out of the sole.

Lightweight, Comfortable, and Great Quality Boots
These boots are lightweight, comfortable for extended wear, and seem well made. The fit was good, and they offer solid support without feeling bulky or heavy. Good quality for the price. They may not be ideal for heavy everyday use or rugged outdoor activities, but they are very comfortable.

Was skeptical but YAY!
After reading some of the reviews I admit I was skeptical but I believe in always doing your own research. We’re all unique and what doesn’t work for some may work quite well for you. That’s the case here. I’ve only been wearing them for maybe 45 minutes and they’ve already started to conform to my feet. In fact the left now fits me like a freakin house slipper!! Due to an achilles injury the rights always take longer to break in but this ones way ahead of the curve. They are LIGHT so I understand the “they feel cheap” comments. If you’re gold standard for quality is weight then go buy a pair of Matterhorn’s or get a double soles pair of Corcoran jumps and you’ll be pleased. I’ll keep my new light as socks boots thanks. Now, granted, these DO look a bit funky, not going to lie. They aren’t “traditional” looking but I don’t mind that. I work in a place where it can easily break 100 degrees with 90+% humidity in summer. The unconventional look of these boots is due to the extensive use of mesh/cordura - and it’s THIN! That means I finally have a pair of boots that won’t turn into size 11 easy bake ovens in July. I’m back to work tomorrow so I’ll see how they handle a ten hour shift but I’m enthusiastic! I’ll wear them the rest of the day today, regularly readjusting the laces as both they and the boots stretch and they should be all set but as of right now I’m calling this a $42 WIN! ** UPDATE** So the first pair lasted me just shy of seven months before the outside of the right boot blew out while tussling with a combative individual at work. Up until that point they had zero issues and had grown remarkably comfortable. I’m a FAN! Have my second pair all laced up and ready to go. If they last as long as the first I’ll be pleased. $84 bucks every year and a half for comfortable work footwear is beyond reasonable to me.

I recommend for hiking
I use these boots for multi-terrain hiking, they are not waterproof but they are lightweight and the toe box is very wide, which is comfortable when climbing embankments. I use high arch inserts that make these boots idea for two - three mile treks with my dogs along a creek and through the forest. I bought the smallest size available (I think they only come in men's sizes) they fit me about like a woman's 6.5. They are slightly long but with insert and tightening the laces, I do not experience foot slippage, they heel fits well. The boots get dirty, yet once they're dry, I brush off dried mud/dirt with a wire brush. They have held up well so far this spring & summer '25. I hike in them approximately 4 times per a week. FYI - They are not waterproof as advertised. Heavy dew on field grass will soak through to my socks.

UPDATE 3/26/18........Very comfortable...
UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE...... Highly disappointed with the result of wearing them for 2 months now. What upsets me is that I am an educator and don’t move around much during the day. Good thing I never wore them to the range BECAUSE THEY PROBABLY BE TORN ALL UP BY NOW. Needless to say the sole is coming off on the left boot.WOW! After thinking these were good durable boots......well obviously they are not. I now give it 1 star! Very very disappointed. Buyers beware! ANOTHER UPDATE.... my son brought this to my attention this morning and I quote “dad u just bought me these....why are they tearing already”. His sole on the right boot is coming off. Again BUYERS BEWARE! My reaction when I first got them was also....WOW AWESOME. WELL GIVE IT A MONTH OR TWO. These boots fit great. They are very comfortable. I am an 11.5......so order your regular shoe size. Highly recommended. I also bought a pair for my 10 year old son. He is totally in love with these boots. He wears them to school and when we go to the range. He usually wears a size 9.5 in sneaker. I went ahead and bought him these boots in size 10 (so they can last a while). They fit him a bit big but wearable. I am an ARMY veteran and have worn many types of military boots....and I can honestly say these boots are AWESOME! FYI.....about and inch bigger than the size.

Nice boot but cheaply made
I give 3 stars for the look and comfort. Boots look and feel great. Easy putting on and quite comfortable. The downside is I'm not sure how long they will last. I do security and do a lot walking on various surfaces. The sole is the thinnest I've encountered and I would not trust walking on a rocky surface as you may feel the rocks beneath you. I can see the sole wearing down fast and the inside wearing out. Very lightweight. The grip is good. For the price paid, I really expected better quality. I will not purchase these again. These same boots are on another site for half the price and that's exactly what these are worth.

I needed a tactical work boot
and tried many until I found this one. It is perfect. Lightweight with a sort of 'barefoot' sole tread and a nice high leg rise. I'm a woman and bought the mens 8.5, I'm a 9.5. The wide bed almost instantly cured my plantar F and the pain was gone. Have been wearing them for a year now with no splits or cracks. Others comment on them and have asked for the link to purchase. This is the boot.

thanks
very lightweight. kinda narrow for my long-wide feet but i am also used to 9" steel-toes for scaffolding... so we will see how they last for common use outside of work after i break them in!
