Feels so good after surgery
I love this glove. It is so soft and squishy. It provides cold relief to all parts of my hand and wrist. I just had carpal tunnel surgery and this glove us everything. Even the weight of it seems to help with the pain from surgery. I can even fit my brace over it for added support. It is amazing. I could have used a smaller size but I have no complaints. I wish I could have found this during my dental assisting days. I had my left carpal tunnel and trigger finger done 6 months ago and healing would have been so much better with this. I absolutely recommend this for any hand injury.

AMAZING if you have to ice all the way around all the parts of your hand.
This is a very effective way to ice your entire hand. I have bad tendonitis throughout both my hands and icing all the areas isn't possible with traditional wraps. There is always one part that doesn't get the same attention or I have to use my hand to keep it in place. I also have to still keep up with my 5 year old. This helps me still have use of my fingers if I need but also quickly and effectively ices the areas I need. This does get SUPER cold but it doesn't burn your skin. Just expect your hand to be iced quickly if you keep it in the freezer.

Only comes with ONE glove, and velcro MUST be cut off It's too strong and frustrating to pull apart.
I'm not sure why they don't sell these in pairs. It's SO expensive to buy 2 of these. So beware, if you have rheumatoid arthritis, or some other medical condition where you need them for both hands, you're going to have to spend twice as much. They don't stay cold as long as they need to, but they do offer some comfort in the short-term, about 10 minutes at a time. I had to cut the velcro off completely. I'm not sure why it's there to begin with. It's not like you can do anything while you're wearing these, so they aren't going to fall off in normal circumstances. The velcro is just an annoying extra thing that really has no purpose, other than to annoy and frustrate. The velcro is too strong for my daughter (18 yo) to even want to try to use it, so it had to go. I will say that when she gets to a point that nothing will take her pain away, she gets these out, and they do ease the pain enough for her to think around the pain. For that, I am thankful, and is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 3. We haven't tried them for heat because her rheumatologist told her to use cold.

This is a game changer for anyone experiencing inflammation/pain in their hands and wrist!
Wow! I had surgery for my hand in May and needed this to help with the recovery. I just discovered that there such a thing and it was exactly what I needed! I wear it daily, 2 or 3 times a day as needed. It has lessened the inflammation and pain I have after physical therapy and allows me to get on with my day. Thank you so much!

If your hand is hurting, this one works for my previous hand surgery.
Got to cold staying freezer and warmed up fast when only refrigerated. So I keep in fridge and toss in freezer for 10 t0 15 minutes prior to using.

Disappointed. Not enough skin contact.
This doesn't stay cool long enough, so its not therapeutic. It only stays cool for about 7-10 minutes. Its painfully too cold initially so you have to let it warm up for a few minutes before putting it on, or else you may put yourself at risk for frostbite - so its scary, it should come with a separate skin protective lining so that you can use it straight out of the freezer. It has a lot of gaps, a lot. On the sides of each finger there is no cooling gel, so its not therapeutic for your fingers. Especially the thumb, at the base of the thumb the cooling gel twists around to the hand, so your thumb is especially not covered much by the cooling gel, this is ineffective. On the inner thumb, at the base where the thumb webs the device does not make contact with your skin, so this area doesn't receive cooling therapy either. I'm disappointed with this product and wouldn't buy it again. There needs to be something on the market for us of those who suffer with pain. I folded and sewed the velcro so that i could get a grip and pull it, which helps, but the velcro is still hard to pull.

Doesn't stay cold long
I've trained in martial arts for decades and lately have started boxing training. I've beaten up my hands alot and almost kept my hand specialist/ orthopedist on speed dial. He told me to routinely ice my hands after every training but I wasn't diligent about it. I was really excited when I saw these gloves and thought it would be an easy way to be compliant. On the plus side the glove is easy to use, well made and comfortable. On the negative side I don't think a therapeutic level of cold lasted more than 5 minutes before it felt just cool. Still, I'm still going to buy a second one for my other hand because it just makes it so easy to ice my hands which I need to do on a very regular basis. If the cold lasted an honest 15-20 minutes I'd be giving it an enthusiastic 5 stars.
