The Addtam US to UK Ireland Plug Adapter has proven to be an indispensable travel companion, offering a perfect blend of functionality, versatility, and compact design. The purpose of the Addtam Type G Power Adapter is its compatibility with UK and Ireland outlets, making it an ideal solution for my travels to these regions. The adapter effortlessly converts my US plugs into the British Type G configuration, providing a secure and stable connection for all my electronic devices. The inclusion of three AC outlets and three USB ports, including one USB-C, sets the Addtam adapter apart from standard plug converters. This multiplicity of ports allowed me to charge multiple devices simultaneously, laptop, smartphone, and watch. The small cube design makes it easy to pack in my carry-on or luggage without adding unnecessary bulk. The durable construction also ensures that it withstands the rigors of travel, making it a reliable choice for my trips. In the realm of plug adapters, the Addtam US to UK Ireland Plug Adapter stands out as a good reliable performer. Basic adapter with Handy USB charging
First and foremost, this adapter DOES NOT change voltage. It simply adapts the G plug to the North American standard plug, and supplies 230 volts on what is normally a 120 volt plug. For powering wide voltage input switching supplies common on notebook computers, this is perfectly fine. Just check the fine print on your power block to ensure that the acceptable voltage input is up to 240 volts 50Hz. My use case was for my notebook computer and this worked perfectly. There's a subtle LED indicator that lets you know that electrical power is on. Considering that many G plugs have a local switch that is often unlabeled, this handier that it would appear at first glance. The USB charging ports were capable of replenishing multiple devices at a sufficiently fast rate of charge. While I only had one high voltage plug in use, the additional outlets could easily be used for other devices, including additional USB chargers (which are also often wide voltage input capable). This adapter turned out to be an integral part of my mobile workstation while working abroad. Simple yet versatile at the same time.

Great Travel Essential for the UK
I brought the Addtam US-to-UK Plug Adapter with me on a recent trip to London, and it was an absolute lifesaver. With so many devices to charge—my phone, watch, tablet, and laptop—I was worried about needing multiple adapters, but this one handled everything with ease. The built-in USB ports meant I didn’t need to pack extra charging bricks, which saved valuable space in my luggage. It worked seamlessly in every hotel and coffee shop I visited, and I never had issues with compatibility or charging speed. The compact, all-in-one design made it incredibly convenient, especially for someone like me who travels light but still relies on several devices throughout the day. If you’re heading to the UK or Ireland, this adapter is a must-have. It made my trip so much smoother, and I’ll definitely be packing it again for any future travel abroad. Highly recommend for both convenience and functionality.

Reliable Travel Must-Have – Sturdy & Super Handy
This adapter has become a staple in our travel bag—especially for trips to the UK and Ireland. We’ve used it on multiple vacations and it’s been incredibly reliable and durable every time. It fits snugly in outlets, never feels loose, and the multiple plug and USB options make it so convenient for charging phones, tablets, and other devices all at once. It’s compact but powerful—perfect for hotel rooms where outlets can be limited. Definitely one of those “travel smarter” items you don’t realize you need until you have it. We don’t leave the country without it!

Works great and compact size makes it easy to carry
Worked great for Ireland trip. One thing I did not realize, this is just an adapter that fixes the physical difference in plugs. It allows you to plug US devices into UK/Irish outlets, but it does not convert voltage. Your device must be compatible with the local voltage (220-240V) on its own. My laptop did fine, but (for example) the hotels had warnings about curling irons. USB slots charged mobile devices just fine. And it works fine with multiple devices. I loved how small this was. It would be chunky in your pocket, but it's fine for a small bag.
