Bought the roll so I could cut to size. Perfect size for small embroidery cones like you find in the huge sets. No more loose unwinding of super slipper embroodery threads for me. If you are wanting to use on a larger thread cone, it will work, but you do need a longer piece. I like that these are translucent so that you can see the color of the thread.

I have been sewing upholstery for over 20 years and never knew this existed. This stuff is FANTASTIC. This keeps your thread on the spool with no twists or tangles. I saw this in a YouTube video and found it here. This is worth every penny. I highly recommend that you try this if you use large spools of thread. Install it once on the spool and it contracts as the thread comes off.

Perfect, just what I wanted

Excellant size for the small spools. Doesn't slide off like many others I have bought do. Nice tension to keep them on. Now I need them like this for my large spools.

This works very well for my thread cones It really helps them from making a mess

We're smaller than I expected. Will not work on large thread spools, too tight. Keeping them though because they'll work on my brothread small spools. Picture makes them look larger than they really are.

Good for diameters up to 2.5" 60mm. I wish it specified in description.

I do not like these at all. I got them for my jumbo threads and they are too narrow and stiff. It is a fight to get them in there. They should work okay for regular size spools of embroidery thread, but they sure didn't meet my needs.

Lo compre dudando ya que en comentarios decían que no le quedaba a los conos grandes, pero si le quedó a mis hilos de 400mts, muy justito, pero yo solo lo quiero para proteger los hilos al guardarlos, así que si me sirvió

Muy buen producto, le queda a varias medidas de carretes.
