The first question; does it work? Yes. I've use a couple of them and they work well. No apparent leaking. Easy on and off. Not really sure you need a six-pack of these but I guess if you are running a motorcade of different partially open bottles, maybe you need six. Value for the money? I think these are a little overpriced but we're a captive audience. If you have screw-top bottles, just bite the bullet and spend the money.

Coravin has revolutionized wine consumption with that greatly improved ability to manage consumption of cork sealed wine. Screw tops posed a dilemma particularly as Sauvignon Blanc producers and numerous non-USA producers of various vintages have moved to Screw Top Caps. Coravin's replacement cap is an excellent solution which we have even used on non-alcoholic bottles for family and friends. Each top is reusable for up to 50 punctures, so keeping a tally of uses is a good idea. This greatly expands the capabilities of the Coravin system of any type and is a great addition if you prefer to mix up your wine selections.

So far I loved this product! It works well with my Coravin system, no more leaking! Lots of wineries now are using synthetic cork, even the ones at $50 range. That means cork not sealing when I use my Coravin. I will stick mostly to wines with screw caps from now on, lots of wine from Australia and New Zealand have screws. I will update my review in few months to see how the wine will taste, Coravin says this cap can keep wine fresh up to 3 months.

I bought these to use on sake bottles. The tops are simple to use and work well with the Coravin device. However, I had to use Teflon tape to get it to have a proper seal around the bottle, otherwise it will drip. I believe this may be due to differences in bottle manufacturing. Once I put in the Teflon tape then everything was fine. Note wines will not last as long as when using corks, but this will definitely increase its longevity.

I love these! The wines last just as long as woth a cork. Love that I can keep my screw tip wines fresh too!!

I have used Corvin vacum seals for wine bottles that were sealed with corks. I had my doubts about these sealers for screw sealed bottles. They really do work!

Just got these. So far so good but the wine should be consumed within the week after replacing the original screw cap with one of these as the act of changing over does expose wine to air thereby starting the oxidation. Best to keep the wine in fridge after replacing the screw cap so oxidation can be slowed.

Funktioniert einwandfrei. Ich kann nun auch die meisten österreichischen Weine (mit Schraubverschluss) länger "frisch" genießen. Tipp: Damit man beim Einstechen, für das 2. Glas, nicht zuviel frische Luft durch die Nadel in die Flasche saugt (Unterdruck durch Kälte), sollte man die Flasche vor Nutzung der Nadel (d.h. auch vor dem Montieren vom Coravin Schraubverschluss) kühlen und nicht erst danach!. Wichtig ist auch, dass man bereits vor dem Befüllen vom ersten Glas den Verschluss montiert, sonst hat man zuviel Luft in der Flasche, welche dann beim "Anzapfen" nur unzureichend mit Argon verdünnt wird
