Fits my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.0 Turbo perfectly.
Installation on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0 Turbo was pretty simple, except that there are some plastic pieces that you have to pull down to get at the area where the bolts will go in for the hitch. You will find that once the bolts are in the plastic pieces do not fit properly anymore, and you will have to trim them. No big deal, just take a Dremel tool or something similar and trim the plastic away from the area where the bolts go through the frame. Otherwise you will be banging your head against the wall trying to figure out why they do not fit. The trailer hitch itself works great no complaints. I would highly recommend it. Do yourself a favor and get a plug and play trailer wiring harness that will plug into your existing wiring harness without having to splice any wires. What a difference that makes. I did this installation myself at 56 years old lying on the ground in the dirt. You might want to get a second person to help you out.

Great fit for 2013 Santa Fe Sport
Always loved Curt receivers, they have always been easy to install, with the exception of this one. This one was a little time consuming because I had to cut out part of the bumper guard on each side and remove the exhaust hangers in order to install two of the bolts. The bumper guards are just two long pins that allow you easily install the bumper and you only need to cut about 1 inch off the tip of each one. I used a Dremel because space is somewhat confined. You will also need to lower the spare and remove it so you can access the bolts to tighten the receiver onto the frame. Don't let this discourage you though. Install with all these additional steps only took me about 1 hour to install. Instructions tell you how to remove the exhaust hangers and they are easy to put back in. You will need a 17mm socket and a 3/4" socket for the bolts. I will upload a video with tips and post the link here soon

Great hitch
Amazing quality! Was super easy to install too, thanks to the colourful detailed instructions. The hardest part was removing the rubber things that hold the exhaust in place, when in the end I was able to fit the hitch into my 2013 Santa fe without needing to remove them, so could have saved about 20 minutes there. The total install took about an hour, with the longest being the prep work of removing the plastic covers under the car and trying to screw in the bolts into the rusty openings under the car. Make sure you have a wire brush to clean out rust from the rusty threads. And then an anti seize paste to apply to the bolts so they don't get stuck in there forever in case you need to remove the hitch in the future. Installing the hitch itself takes about 5 minutes, put it into place, attach bolts, torque them into place. One thing for the Santa fe, you will need an extender for your ratchet, as it's hard to get a ratchet in there. (search for "ratchet extension" here on amazon)

Nice fit and quality build. A little advice for you.
This hitch fit my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T very well. The mounting holes lined up perfectly with the existing trailer hitch mounting holes in the vehicle. I drove the back wheels onto some boards to raise it slightly. You have to lower the spare tire, which is easy. Then you slide the exhaust hanger pins out of the 3 rubber isolators so it drops down slightly. This was not real easy but the advice in the instructions was clear and it worked. Next you remove plastic fascia from the left and right sides. The fasteners look like screws but they aren't. Turn them some and then use your fingernails or a knife blade to get under the head and pull down as you turn it more and it will pull out easily. At tbe top of the fascia are two guide pins which are serrated and the fascia pulls off of them. On my vehicle there are pre-wired sockets under these fascia for connecting the somewhat pricey OEM trailer wiring. I then held the hitch in place while bolting it in. The only help I had was someone to hand me the hardware. The next steps are to re-attach the exhaust, raise the spare tire, and re-attach the fascia. On the drivers side fascia, I had to drill a 1/4" hole in the plastic so the rear guide pin could come through since it was off a little. This is hidden way up under the car so it is not at all visible and preferable to cutting the plastic so the original hole would line up. From now on I will have to push the spare tire back slightly while raising and lowering it to clear the hitch. The hitch looks good and is well made with nice paint. It hangs just under the bumper perfectly. I will be getting the wiring from the Hyundai dealer and be ready to tow.

Installed on a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport
Things to remember (which they are up front on with the instructions): 1. You will need a torque wrench that goes up to 110 ft/lbs to tighten 4 of the bolts, the other 4 are tightened to 48 ft/lbs. 2. Read the instructions thoroughly first so you are familiar with the install procedure. 3. You will have to loosen the muffler from the exhaust hangers, I only did the back 2, they recommend doing the back 3 but I did not have the luxury of a lift or jack stands (I did this on my back in my driveway) so I made it a little harder on myself. 4. Get a can of penetrating lubricant so you can spray out the 4 nuts that are built into the body of the vehicle. I spent a bit of time cleaning them out & making sure that I could get the bolts cleanly into them before I mounted the hitch. 5. When you mount the hitch, set all the bolts finger tight so you can make sure that everything is in place before torquing everything down. The hitch comes complete with all the mounting hardware necessary, all it takes is time & patience. I did it by myself and it did take me a few hours but I also live in the Northeast & I wanted to make sure that the various mounting points were clear of debris before installation. Installation is clean & looks like it was there from the factory.
