Both items were well packaged and the containers are of very good quality and easy to access and use. They are fragrance free, this being important for a new tattoo! The foam wash feels nice on the skin, only a small amount is enough to produce a good lather. The cream requires an even smaller amount. Feeling very nice on the skin, not greasy, leaves skin moisturised and absorbs well. Given the quality of both and a little goes a long way, they are very good value.

I recently had my first tattoo: an intricate dot work piece on my inner wrist. I bought the wash and cream as a duo and I have been so impressed by the quality and effectiveness of these products!I left my second skin on the piece for 4 days and then used the wash and cream consistently for two weeks.I’ve had zero pain or swelling, no itching and flaking has been minimal. This stuff is magical and I’m still using the cream a few times a day to help the last healing stages. This is by far the best tattoo aftercare product I’ve found so far. I had a lot of issues with my last tattoo so wanted to try a different product to see if it helps. I picked this one based on their claims and the reviews and it didn’t disappoint. A lot of thought has gone into the packaging, it is brilliant. Tattooed print on the inside of the boxes, nicely laid out info, easy to read, the foam bottle is very tactile.Now the product itself. The foam cleanser is lovely, it has a nice gentle feel, dispenses into your palm just the right amount. It’s gentle on the tattoo and skin, it caused me no irritation at all. The tattoos redness went down in record time for me, within 36 hours, which for me is very quick. I feel it is because of the foam. The aftercare lotion is easy to apply, it absorbs nicely and quickly without needing to rub it in (it does tell you not to rub it in). My tattoo is 5 days old, no itching yet, but it is scabbed up, I feel because of the foam and lotion, it’s stopped the itching but still allowed the healing. I won’t be using anything other than this product going forward for my tattoo aftercare.

Perfect gentle aftercare for fresh tattoos. Decent price, works well and vegan and cruelty-free to boot. Can't ask for much more, this stuff has got me through two full sleeves so far and I wouldn't use anything else!

So I got this for my first tattoo as I just didn’t want to wing it with random stuff and got this recommended to meNow I will say the wash foam is amazing really made it feel clean and smooth no problems 10/10The moisturiser now this was a weird one it was just too thick for when my tattoo had just been done and I did have to wait atleast three to four days till I could actually just put it on and spread it easily but cause of how thick it is I had to like apply more then I do now as it was just incredibly painful to try and spread it at the start obviously that’s due to the tattoo and also the bottle or tube should I say it came in was slightly annoying as too much pressure and the cream just starts making its own way out the bottle and there’s no stopping it without just jamming the lid back onOverall the experience with the wash was amazing and also the moisturiser was good once the tattoo had settled moreFirst pic is when it first got done and second is after 2-3 weeks using the products

Bought this based on good reviews applied to my new tattoo day after I had it done i did get a burning sensation first time but I expected this as the tattoo was new and essentially still a wound i continue to apply it 2-3 times a day after and never had an issue its a little thick but not greasy easy to apply the foam cleanser is great and my tattoo is healing nicely only thing I would say is it's a little expensive

Absolutely brilliant stuff this. Got both the wash and cream and it’s been amazing for a couple tattoos I’ve recently gotten. I normally take a good 2 weeks to heal fully, but after 5 days for one and 8 for the other, I was highly impressed. The cream goes on like a dream and stays for ages. Highly recommend

I don’t usually go out of my way to write reviews, but this product is so good I had to share. This Stories & Ink duo is a fantastic value and honestly a better "bang for your buck" compared to other brands I’ve tried.The Soap:The bottle is much larger than the Mad Rabbit soap, so it lasts a lot longer and you can clean more tattoos with it. It’s very gentle on the skin and has a unique, pleasant scent—almost like yogurt, but in a good way!The Aftercare Cream:This is where Stories & Ink really wins for me. The consistency is more like a clay or paste, which I prefer because it’s not sticky. My biggest issue with Mad Rabbit was that if you applied a little too much, your skin felt tacky and would stick to your clothes, especially when it’s hot out.The Stories & Ink tube also makes it much easier to control how much product comes out. With other brands, I felt like I was wasting cream because too much would squeeze out at once. My only small complaint is the twist-off cap (I prefer a flip-cap so I don't drop it), but the quality of the cream makes up for it.Overall:Both brands, mad rabbit and stories are good, but I personally prefer Stories & Ink. It feels like you get more for your money, and the non-sticky formula is a game changer. Highly recommend!

I do not know what they put in this stuff but it is MAGICAL. I got a bunch of tattoos in one go and I was so itchy and uncomfortable, washed it with the wash and applied the cream and I am not itchy anymore. Genuinely soothed my irritated skin, and didnt leave a heavy oily coating on my skin. Bonus points that it has absolutely no scent to it. I will definitely repurchase time and time again

Very nice. A little goes a long way. If you get a cast from the lotion just keep rubbing it in and it will go away. My skin is super sensitive and I had no issues with this products. No fragrance at all which helps me because I get migraines easily. Doesn’t feel greasy as it absorbs pretty quickly.
