The clasps were actually plastic and just snapped on me spilling all my stuff in a busy office lobby. The pictures show metal but that was not the case.

Very good quality strap. I have Eagle Creek cross body bags that is no longer made. Still in perfect condition but the years were unkind to the strap. This strap is wider,more substantial, great adjustability and shoulder padding abd really inexpensive
