Great, affordable gym flooring
Purchased 4 48 sq foot boxes for my wifeโs home gym for a Christmas gift. They all arrived before Christmas (thank you Amazon!) and after she opened them, I installed them in our approximately 160 sq foot home gym. The install was as easy as it gets as these have โteethโ that connect each of them plus a really nice border piece for straight edges like against the wall. I did notice some slight discoloration between the different boxes as I laid the tiles, however, nothing that was show stopping. A couple of the tiles looked like they had a stain of some sort from manufacturing but I just strategically placed those tiles under our 1/8โ rubber mats under our treadmill and bike. These were also very easy to cut with a razor knife as I made custom cuts around the door frames in our gym. Overall Iโm extremely satisfied with these. No telling if they are durable as we just installed them but if we have any issues Iโll update this review.

A Must-Have for Any Home Gym
I recently purchased gym flooring for my home gym space, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This product is a game-changer, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to create a safe and functional workout environment. The gym flooring I purchased has proven to be an exceptional investment. Its durability, versatility, ease of installation, low maintenance, and appealing aesthetics make it a must-have for anyone looking to create a safe and functional workout area. Whether you're setting up a home gym or upgrading a commercial facility, this gym flooring is worth every penny. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Cleans up well - changes the look of the room
Our basement floor is not finished and is quite ragged. This poses a problem because I cut all kinds of wood down there and the remains end up on my fiances feet when she does laundry. Keep your stereotyping thoughts to yourself kemosabe. These interlocked easily, installed in minutes and changed the entire look of the basement floor. I took the attached pictures for you. The first was as it was when I got there and the second is after a single sweep. Message being that these clean up extremely well. Dust etc brushes right off. Note, I literally only brushed once, you aren't that important to me. The matts are comfortable to work on and I frequently stand on them for hours at a time. I have had them installed for a little over three months and have beat them up pretty good. Well worth the investment and a perfect middle ground for unfinished floors.

The one I receive do not match each other (color)
I'm not sure if every shipment is different but the ones I received are not all the same color so they don't match each other and are shades of gray and black. This is really an annoyance and does not build trust with this seller for me. Fortunately, it's not a purchase where this is critical, or I would return them and look for another product. It will bug me each time I look at it but that's only because I think things should match when they're in the same product. Overall they are easy to assemble and not hard to work with. They are durable and are great for underneath my aerial yoga stand.

Love these easy to assemble and clean tiles for our basement
We had half of our unfinished dark and dingy basement floor covered with tiles similar to these. They were a different brand, but these fit in pretty well with them. There were a couple spots that the grooves didn't fit perfectly, but the foam is easy to cut so we cut some little pieces on our old mats to fit into these new ones nicely. They are a nice shiny black, seem very easy to clean. They are nice and cushy on your feet. Our basement floor looks so much better now! We had to work around a couple of beans and it was easy to score these with a knife and then cut with regular scissors to make them fit around it. We are very happy with these. Such a quick way to cover old concrete basement floors. Will definitely buy this brand again over the others we tried!

Easy to assemble, Good Value and good product
I ordered almost 200 square feet of the 1/2 inch flooring to put down on our cement basement in our workout area. It was very easy to assemble and to trim to fit in certain areas to work around immovable objects. We did not observe and initial smell as some have mentioned but it did feel slippery right after removing from the packaging and laying it down. That went away pretty quickly and we are very happy with our purchase. The boys now want a small section for their bedroom to go on their wood floor. I debated between the 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch and went with the 1/2 inch. For our purpose I am pleased that the 1/2 inch will work just fine. If you are doing a lot of jumping on cement you might want to consider the 3/4.

Two great new home workout spaces!
The BalanceFrom Puzzle Exercise Mat has provided two workout spaces in our home. One in our basement and one in our garage. We bought the 48 square feet, 1.2 inch product and split the squares between the two spaces. The surface is much better than working out on the tile and concrete surfaces we were using before. It has helped reduce worries about shin, knee, and back pain associated with hard impact surfaces. It has also provided a much more comfortable surface for hands, elbows, and bottoms during exercises like push ups, planks, and other ab-focused movements. We highly recommend this product for its quality, functionality, and overall value. We did consider getting the thicker mat when purchasing but are very happy with the 1/2 inch product for the uses mentioned above. We highly recommend this product!

BEWARE DIFFERENT SIZES!
TLDR: The tiles in the 12-pack are listed as 23.6โ while the 6-pack ones are 24โ. They are not compatible with each other. I recently purchased a 12-pack of the 1/2โ tiles to extend my existing 24 tile setup. After confirming this was the EXACT same brand, i ordered them and the tiles showed up, but when i went to place them down they didnt quite fit right. i pulled up one of the old tiles to compare, and sure enough the new ones were a hair shorter. I went back to this page and yepp: the tiles in the 12 pack are listed as 23.6x23.6 while the 6 pack ones are listed as 24x24. WHY would they be different tiles?! they are on the same product page and any reasonable person would assume the black 1/2โ tiles in the 6-pack would be the EXACT same as the black 1/2โ tiles in the 12-pack. Waste of time and money smh. despite that they are still perfectly adequate tiles at a good price and i would have otherwise given them 5 stars. but this differing-size fiasco has brought them down to 3

Good quality, reasonable price, ideal for fitness area
We were looking for floor mats when we set up our home fitness area. I found these tiles on Amazon and decided that the 1/2" tiles best fit our needs. We just have some free weights, a weight bench, and a barbell. No machinery. After using these for a month, the tiles have held up pretty well. Minor dents like kneeling on the tiles or barbell impressions usually returned to normal. However the legs of the weight bench have sunk in noticeably into the tiles. That's to be expected I guess, as these are just foam tiles, not the rubber tiles we see in the gym. The tiles are soft and comfortable to stand on. The interlocking fit well and there was no noticeable smell from the tiles. The price is quite fair for the area coverage (48 sq ft). Much less expensive than buying several fitness mats. I'm not sure if the 3/4" tiles would've been that much better, and they are twice as expensive.

Good quality
The tiles all fit together well, and seem to be made of high density foam. They covered the sq. footage I needed perfectly, with 3 tiles to spare, but then I did my homework and measured before ordering. I just laid them down today, so time will tell if they hold up well under the weights (bought them to protect my floor for weight training). I'm sure the heavier weights will leave some sort of indent over time, especially if stationary in the same spot. What I'm interested to see is just how much they will recover (if at all) when the weight is taken off. They have a peculiar smell when first unpacked (not too strong though), but I read in a review that it soon goes away. I sure hope there are no harmful chemicals! I think I read somewhere in the description that there weren't. *** UPDATE*** Three days of use now and the smell is fading... or maybe I just got used to it. ๐. The 70lb dumbells sure made a dent when left in one spot overnight, but the tiles recovered when the weight was removed. It remains to be seen however how they'll handle longer periods of time.

Only received 6 tiles, 24square feet
Donโt be fooled by the description this arrives with 6 tiles only, for a total of 24 square feet, contrary to the stated description that promises 48 square feet and 12 tiles.
