Delicious and easy to use
We have purchased several of these already. It is delicious and it is incredibly easy to use. If you prefer more caramel coated kernels, you have to adjust the amount of Glaze Pop you use and oil. We typically use (6 oz kettle) 14 tbsps of glaze pop which comes out to a tad more than a 1/2 cup and 5 tbsps of oil (coconut). Once the corn stops to pop you will pour it a little after seeing mostly white kernels (around 5 seconds after seeing the whiter kernels). Hope this helps!

Popcorn machine or ELSE! :)
This stuff was made for a real popcorn machine; think movie theater. If you don't have that machine, using this glaze can be a nightmare! After wasting 1/3 of the package (burning it), I finally got the process down for success without a popcorn machine. 1. Air pop enough popcorn to fill a large pot 2/3 full. 2, Heat coconut oil (any oil) in that large pot. 3. Add glaze. 4. Once glaze begins to melt, add a tablespoon of butter. 5. STIR, STIR, STIR! 6. As soon as the glaze has fully melted (don't "overmelt") pull it off the heat shut off the burner. 7. Dump in the popcorn and stir it up like you're making popcorn balls. you can stir it on the hot, but off, burner to keep things warm. It may take a little practice, but this process works...your biggest concern is not overheating the glaze...the second it's fully melted, get it off the heat.

Just like caramel corn from the store
So I had been craving caramel corn, but could never find it in stores without peanuts except at Christmas time. I just gave up and decided to make my own. I combined 4oz of popcorn kernels, 2oz of this glaze, and two tablespoons of vegetable oil and used a Whirley Pop to make popcorn on the stove. I was concerned the glaze might burn, but it didn't and the popcorn came out perfectly with hardly any unpopped kernels. It tastes very similar to store bought caramel corn. I might use a bit more glaze next time as some of the popcorn didn't have enough of the coating. Though I used vegetable oil, I highly recommend using coconut oil if you can because it will make your popcorn taste better. I think this product is priced very reasonably and one carton should last awhile.

Clean Up Is Easy And It Did Not Burn For me.
I didn't expect to love this as much as I did. I have an 8 ounce machine and use the premeasured packets. I have used it with (about 1/4 of premeasured amount) and without the salt. I have to add a little extra oil when I do it, and I wait for the first one or two kernels to pop before I slowly add approx. 4 ounces of this glaze. I haven't experienced any burning and the kettle is so easy to clean. There hasn't been anything stuck inside or burned on. I could rinse it with a little warm water and the kettle would be ready for another batch. I would like this more if the glaze were a little thicker. About half of the popcorn is coated like cracker jacks. I would say about 30 percent is glazed enough to get some crunch and flavor, but not as much as I would like. The remaining bit of popcorn has a scant amount of glaze on it. Maybe I need to add more or adjust the other ingredients. I think this is addicting. My youngest (he loves popcorn and candy) hates it for some reason. My oldest and my visiting mom can't get enough. Because it is so easy to clean up, I will likely use this a lot. I would have given five stars if the coating had been even following instructions from the box. I did use a machine not listed, so maybe it works better using those brands. My popcorn maker is an 8 ounce Great Northern Popcorn Company popper.

If you like Cracker Jacks this glaze is for you!
Tastes very much like the ballpark treat and is reasonably easy to use. It does take a little finesse as when I added it with the oil first-thing it tasted burnt to me I have avoided that by adding only after the oil has heated up and the popcorn has just started to pop.

Meh
I LOVE caramel popcorn and have tried many different varieties and flavors. This looked like a super easy way to make it so I ordered. The glaze does a pretty good job of fully coating the first kernels popped but then gets really light on the remaining pot of corn. It wasn't sweet enough for my taste so I added some white sugar to the pot which helped. It is still not the flavor I am looking for in a caramel corn. It was cheap enough to try but I won't be buying it again.

this is great stuff
so I love popcorn and I love to mix it up a bit. I was making the caramel corn you have to boil the candy on the stove, pour it on and bake it for an hour..... took so long. this product coats while it pops and you good to go right away! faster to the fun. its also easy to clean off later (a soak with water dissolves any extra caramel) this has a very good flavor and you can add more or less depending on how coated and sugary you want your corn. I have to try it on nuts yet. oh, you have to use a popper where you can keep the corn moving, the stir type pots.

Only buy this if you have their SPECIAL KETTLE
This was a GREAT BIG FAIL because I'm an idiot who didn't read the Description of the product first before I bought it. I had no idea I needed to buy a special kettle to cook it. I figured I would just do the popcorn the old fashioned way in a big Dutch oven. Nope! I tried to redeem myself in front of my daughter (who thought I had wasted money) by trying various other methods to use this Carmel topping. I could not get it to stop burning. I finally gave up and threw it in the trash. What a waste of money!
