Worked on Ick in my Reef tank
I had ick in my large reef tank. Went fallow for 3 months, treated all my fish in 2 QT tanks and ick reappeared shortly after. I was extremely disappointed and aggravated. A local fish guy recommended this product. Amazingly it worked. It's been over 8 months and no signs of ick!

Stopped my ich issue FINALLY!
Long story short, I got a sick juvenile Porcupine puffer. He had ich when I got him. I QT’ed him and treated with coppersafe, but I swear it almost ended him every time. After the 3rd round of QT…. enough was enough! I had pristine water parameters, RODI, cycled tank, UV etc with a system that cost me about 8,000 USD and was about to throw in the towel before I ordered this. I have a 100 gallon system with anemones, zoanthids, and soft corals only. I ordered online to avoid the heat from my LFS and this is GOLD! Literally saved me from quitting the hobby. I was not about to traumatize my fish again, and this was the final straw. Overall following instructions to totally be ich free I used around 3-4 bottles over the course of two months. Follow the instructions carefully and do not miss a dose! My Puffer was ich free for 1 week the first time, stopped dosing for 3 days it came back. I realized you have to treat this like an antibiotic, taper up, then taper down, be careful. At one point I did increase the dose to 8 scoops when the ich was booming (6 was recommended); but do at your own risk. With water changes treat the new water as well. Glad to say it’s been 6 months now and my ich is managed. I would recommend using this at the first sight of ich, the faster you treat the better imo. Now I always keep a bottle handy bc the seller took almost 2 weeks, then it came broken 😡. I had to go to my LFS in shame to buy. Stock up if you have a big tank or use a seller that has it on prime.

Worked for me
I’ve read mixed reviews and have tried multiple ich treatments and this is the only one to have worked for me. Followed directions to the tee and my fish are now looking a lot healthier within 3 days of treatment. Great to have on stand by and my corals don’t mind it its important to not let it fall on them, it truly is reef safe.

Not a cure but will buy you some time!
I kept hearing it kills parasites at their free swimming stage. So I bought this in hopes it will help me cure/ control velvet that broke out in my tank since they have a free swimming stage while looking for a fish host. I don't know it was actually killed them or just conditioned the water improving fish health. But the velvet continued to wear down the fish slowly instead of 24-48 hours. Example: Velvet introduced to tank 9/20/23 on new fish. The fish died the very next day. 2 days later royal gramma died. A day both clowns and coral beauty powdered with velvet and apatite reduced. I had order it but realized it wasn't going to come in time. So I drove to multiple pet shops to see if any had it in stock. What I should have done is pick up a quarantine tank and copper. Finally about 2 hours from home one pet store had it. Started treating tank immediately with the high dose recommended. Next day appetite was back and fish seemed to improve. Thought there's hope. Continued to treat tank with the higher dose morning and night. 10/3/23 one of the clowns took a turn for the worst and ate very little but other 2 still ate like pigs. Next morning that clown was dead, the other clown and coral beauty were covered once again with a very little appetite. At this point I knew QT was the only option. Quickly ran down to local fish store, bought a tank kit and set up a QT. However no one near me carried copper power med. Made sure all the levels were good, caught the 2 fish, did a fresh water dip (float fresh water in bag in the tank fish are currently in so temp is the same to minimizestress), increased to 1/2 salinity with QT tank water and then put them into QT tank. This bought me a bit more time because the dip killed off some of the parasites and have not had a chance to reproduce in the new tank. Next morning appetite was good again. Figured with the new set up I'd be good because copper med expected to arrive the next day. But of course when I check the tracking, my order has been delayed. Once again they were covered with lack of appetite. Thankfully a pet store only an hour away had copper power, so I made the drive. Dosed copper late morning and it was almost instant that their appetite returned. This morning they look a whole lot better. Hopefully the worst is behind us. So Yes, I gave it 4 stars because without it I'm certain all of my fish would have died. It's a great product to have available to buy some time to set up a QT, catch difficult fish or what ever else slows you down from proper treatment. But it will not cure it. Hope this help someone have a better understanding so you don't make the same mistake I did in hoping it would kill off the parasites. Side note: I Dosed the high dose morning and night for many days with absolutely no sign of irritation and no death to any of the corals in my tank(Zoas, leathers, blasto, hammer, digi, birdsnest, cyphastrea, candy cane, Duncan, war coral, style, red plate coral, beach bum, acros and anemone). Also no ill affects to my cleaner shrimp or crabs. Recommend dosing in a place that it can full dissolve before entering your display tank

Not sure if it works. I mean ich comes and goes in the tank ive used it in. Does make coral mad if its near them when added in the tank. I mean ive stopped seeing whites after a few days of using it..... but they'll return a month or so later

Awesome marine velvet and ich medicine!! IT REALLY WORKS!!
This product works great. It arrived on time and had no problems with tracking or packaging, came like it said. I have used this for a few months now n it has saved my clown trigger, my tangs, nemos, and more. I had marine velvet in my larger tank and ich in my smaller tank which is a biocube 32 gallons. It has saved all my fish from both marine velvet and ich. I have a 75 gallon tank with a 40 gallon sump under it and I dose both my tanks once about 30 mins before the lights come on in the morning and once about 30 mins after the lights go off at night. I have saved so many of my fish by dosing my saltwater tanks with this medicine. I would recommend this product to anyone with a problem with marine velvet and/ or ich in their tanks. Most people that have problems with this medicine, they r not dosing the tanks right. U have to dose when the fish r sleeping that's when the parasites r awake n moving. If u follow the instructions step by step then it will save ur fish. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

This is not a rating against the seller. This ...
This is not a rating against the seller. This is solely for the product. It doesn't work! I treated my tank with Medic with no discernible result. I have lost 80% of the fish in my tank and the ich marches on. Ich treatments are the 'snake oil' of the day. FYI there is only one ingredient listed 'hydroxide salt'. This product is only worth the momentary hope it provides you when you see your fish infected with ich. But this feeling quickly fades when you see this does not work at all.
