TechDiamondTools polishing compound works great!
I have a granite island top that had become very rough in some of the vein imperfections. I cleaned the top then used the water-thin super glue to fill some bad imperfections. I used regular sanding paper on pad with water to smooth out the super glue fillings. This brought to light some imperfections I missed with sanding powder. I cleaned and added more super glue to those areas and repeated the process. After this I first sanded my granite island top with various grit diamond pads up to 8000 grit using a sanding/polishing tool on #1 setting and occasionally spraying on water. Then I began with the 8000 grit polishing paste (without water) applied to wool polishing pad, polishing at #2-3 speed settings on my HF polishing tool. I polished around 10-15 minutes with each grit then cleaned the surface with soap and water between each grit. I polished using 8000, 14,000, 50,000, 100,000 and 200,000 grits and the counter looks like new after final cleaning. (Note of caution: For testing the complete sanding/polishing process, I used an old quartz top which had been cracked due to a hot griddle being left on too long. I had sealed the crack with super glue. When using the polishing compound on wool pads the surface got too hot and the crack popped open again. Be careful to allow cool down between each grit on quartz to prevent any tendency for quartz to crack!!)

Good Product
A little goes a long way, works well for polishing steel to mirror finish. Would recommend.

Great stuff, great buy!
Stuffs works great! If you pair it with a dermal tool with a cloth wheel you are really cooking. Everything this polish touches shines, gets all the micro scratches out of my wedding ring I scratch up from work. I like how you can keep stepping up the grit to improve the finish even more. It's almost addictive using this stuff, I wanna see how shiny I can get things ahahahh.

Works great!
This stuff is the real deal! I've used it on several small projects and it definitely removes small scratches and produces a great finish on the very high grit count. Thank you!

Works but nothing special.
Good for polishing with a wheel, but loads up on a strop due to carrier being waxy.

Works Amazing! Totally worth the investment.
I had purchased a different polish that claimed it was the best polish. My first picture is of the item AFTER using that polish. I bought the diamond compound hoping for at least some improvement. Wasnโt expecting miracles, it was my first time making and sanding a resin sphere so I knew there were some errors on my end. The end result was a HUGE difference though. It went from foggy and difficult to see through to being able to see clear through it and pick out lots of details (air bubbles where I need to improve ๐). Spend the money and buy the compound! I used less than 1/2mil for each compound on this.
