Barrina T5 Grow Light, 5000K White Full Spectrum LED Grow Light 2ft, 8 Pack

I’ve built my current indoor growing system around these lights for my non-fruiting and non-flowering plants, and I absolutely love them. They’ve provided excellent growth for herbs and other leafy plants, keeping everything healthy, compact, and vibrant. The lights are bright, easy to install, and work well on shelving. They also run cool and have been very reliable with daily use. My basil, cilantro, and other foliage plants have all responded really well under them. If you’re growing herbs, seedlings, houseplants, or other plants that don’t require intense flowering light, I highly recommend these. They’ve exceeded my expectations and have become the backbone of my indoor grow setup.

Okay, usually stuff like this is kind of like kitchen gadgets - neato but junk (heat mat for example). Not this! I’m super happy with it. Just got it a few days ago, put it to work immediately. 1) actually decent quality, comes with good mounting stuff. 2) on or off, no in between on brightness but you choose how close or far from seedlings (or whatever) so you're in charge. 3) My seedlings are usually leggy because I use either south facing window or lamp light… don’t bother, those methods are junk. LOL. I bought the 2’ length, excellent choice for my metal baking racks which also work with the magnetic back on the lights. The flexibility of the products is excellent because of the multiple ways to mount them (zip tie, magnetic, etc) No timer but I don’t need that. I am super happy with the quality, cost, performance (so far) I’m so glad to not be dealing with leggy plants. The difference of just a few days is amazing.

Great lights! Super easy to set up and link together. Very bright. Love the magnetic feature. I previously purchased another set about a month ago and already am seeing significant leaf and root growth on my orchids.

First off, I bought these for a specific shelving unit. Unfortunately they did not fit because the total length once you insert the cords on both ends exceeded the space. They do not give those measurements in the description. I went to return them the same day I got them and apparently they were non refundable. I was out nearly $90. I did call Amazon and complain because in all my years of buying experience I have never not been able to return purchases, especially on Amazon. Customer service was great and made a one time exception and told me to keep them because they could not accept them. I thought great, now I have these lights and no place to use them, so they sat in their boxes in a closet until I could find someone to give them to. Fast forward, I got more plants and repurposed a metal rack I had in my office. I remembered I had these lights, so I pulled them out and stuck them on the underside of each shelf. My plants are in heaven. I still had a bunch of lights, so when I had to quarantine some plants after finding a mealy bug and powdery white mildew, I rigged some of the lights to a painter pole, placed two large containers on each side of my quarantine dresser, laid the pole on top, and set my quarantined plants under it. Perfect. I only have so many windows and since succulents need a lot more light, I was worried about quarantining them because I did not have a place where they would get enough light. Then I decided to put some plants on the bottom shelf of my foyer table. Why did I not think of this sooner? They are fantastic and provide the light these plants need. These lights put out so much light. My plants clearly like being under them. I will definitely buy more from this brand. I have a bunch of props under these lights and every single leaf has pups. I have not been successful propagating my ghost plant in the past, but now I have three babies. I have about 100 pups from my kalanchoe marnieriana leaf props. I am amazed. I also finally propagated a jade plant from a leaf and from the leaf of my kalanchoe tormentosa, the panda plant. The only thing they could improve is including shorter connection plugs. The ones included are so long. I have a bunch of the Barrina pucks and those came with both long and short connectors. Not sure why these Barrina strip lights don’t.

I’m so glad I chose these Barrina grow lights. I bought the black version so they would blend in with my shelving unit, and they look great. My plants absolutely love them. Several of them started blooming shortly after installation, which tells me the lights are doing exactly what they should. The lights were very easy to install. Instead of using the adhesive clips that came with the package, we used EZlifego Double Sided Nano Tape, which worked perfectly and kept everything secure. I did need to order the longer 48” OS Series cords from Barrina (sold separately) so I could reach my wall outlet, since the cord included in the package was too short for my setup. Once installed, the lights are well-hidden but extremely effective. Everything is growing beautifully, and the whole space feels brighter and healthier. My plants are happy, which makes me happy. Highly recommend.

So not the most powerful but they work really well they give off of nice subtle white pink glow and they really push growth and foliage so pretty please with it.

These grow lights are of superior quality and they alone have kept all of my indoor house plants alive through winter. Not even just keeping them alive, but thriving. My plants have all tripled in size with regular use. I love the fact that you don’t have to link them all together. You can choose how many strips you want to connect, and there are enough plug-in cables where if you want to gift someone one or two lights you can. It really is a versatile system and I absolutely love it! The photo of the spiderplants I included for reference have both been recently split and I had so many offshoots of babies that I literally gave away 200 to my neighbors in the spring lol

I use the 4-foot white T5s and 4-foot white T8s on wire shelving for succulents, mostly Haworthia, jade, and aloe. I like the T8s because they have reflectors. I have yet to use the TX series of lights, but I plan to once they get the first few models run through and figure out some design issues. I adjust the number of lights or their distance from the plants depending on individual needs. These lights give off slightly less intensity at each end of the strip, which works well for placing lower-light plants on the ends of the shelf. I’ve been buying Barrina lights for years and run them daily. I’ve only ever had one issue with a faulty plug, so it’s worth occasionally checking the back of the plugs for signs of overheating and making sure all connections are tight when daisy chaining. I plug the lights into a smart power strip that I control from my phone. What I grow changes throughout the season. I also start native plants from seed using this setup after simulated cold stratification, and I grow garden vegetable starts as well. It’s easy to add additional lights if more coverage or intensity is needed. If the lights flicker, adding a small fan to keep them cool can help. I run more than 40 strips at a time, so I ventilate the room and use a fan on very hot days, but a few lights should not be an issue in most climate-controlled homes. I wouldn’t use these in environments that need to be fully waterproof or that experience extreme temperature swings, such as a very humid greenhouse. For indoor growing, they work well for a wide range of uses and are affordable. I recommend them to everyone!

Love these lights I put them in my greenhouse as we had a long winter. It helped with my plants. Excellent choice.

I had a grow light before and this one is so much brighter than my old one. I love the white pink light although I really wanted the yellow one but those were sold out. I wish they make more 1 ft grow light in yellow but I would still highly recommend this grow light to anyone and would probably purchase more if I need more.

Versatile product, can be connected together to make a longer light, a chain of lights or use each light individually with it’s own power cord. Has option to mount light with screws or double sided tape. Just installed them yesterday so not sure if they will help plants grow or not but does add a nice glow to my showcase.
