LENOX 50-Pack 1.5-in Carbon Steel St

I work in a warehouse and cut tons of cardboard and plastic of all shapes & sizes. I’ve always had a thing for quality tools, and these blades definitely fit that bill. Before I got these Lenox Golds, I was using cheap off brand ones from the hardware store. I would destroy them and have to switch blades out every day. They were sharper than these, because they had a secondary bevel on the edge, which made them sharper, but way more prone to excess damage. It says on the package they last 3X longer, and I’d have to agree. I can get about 2-3 days out of each side of the blade, whereas before I would use both sides in 1 day. They are plenty sharp, and tough as nails. The titanium coating on the edge definitely makes a difference. I paired it with my Ti-Rant Razor V3 by Exceed Designs, which is the all titanium box cutter (You can find right here on Amazon) and I now have a super lightweight box cutter with a pry bar on the end. Super useful tool, and the best blades I’ve found yet. Only downside is the dispenser, the blades are all coated in grease. Which makes them stick together & near impossible to dispense. I had to use a screwdriver to slide each blade out. Slightly annoying, but I only have to do it once a week thanks to these great blades. Pros: Very long lasting, titanium coating ACTUALLY makes a difference and aids in longevity. 4 notches that allows you to extend the blade out a little farther & get more blade length. No secondary bevel, keeps all the strength right where you need it, the edge. Very flexible, don’t need to worry about them snapping. Tips are stronger than most other blades I’ve used. They look great as well. Cons: They don’t come as sharp as others, but it’s a respectable trade off. What you lose in sharpness, you gain in durability & longevity.

I purchased these blades prior to this purchase. These blades are exceptional! Long lasting very sharp blades that cut easily. These (IMO) are the best blades out there. Try them and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Hands down the best blades on the market. I have tried a lot. Milwaukee, Stanley, husky, dewalt, random cheap ones that come with knives. These are more expensive but they easily pay for themselves. I used to change my blade at least weekly. Now I can’t even remember the last time I did and it’s still very sharp. I try to put everyone onto them and give blades to all my coworkers (really anyone I see with a utility knife🤣) because they are truly that good.

Durable. Sharp. Compared to dewalt carbides, I’d say they’re very close, maybe a bit better. I’ll be buying again.

These Lenox Gold blades come in identical plastic dispensers as the Irwin Bi-Metal blades, both Made in Mexico (which is a plus, anything is better than Made in China). These must be made in the exact same factory since they share so many similarities. The plastic dispensers share the same bad design because the blades won't slide out unless you get it perfectly aligned with the slot and sometimes the blades get stuck together, so taking them out of the dispenser can be frustrating. I like to do it the proven way -- the plastic cover pops off easily by prying open the tabs. Both are pre-oiled. Both brands are exactly 0.245" thick measured with my precision caliper. They have exactly the same double taper in the same geometry to create the edge. The Lenox blade is also Bi-Metal, so it looks like the only differences are that the Lenox blade has a thin titanium coating on the edge, and Lenox has four notches for alignment in the knife holder rather than two. Both are very sharp, excellent utility blades. Minus one star for the poor dispenser design.

These blades are the "Gold Titanium Standard" for utility knife blades. If you're purchasing these blades, then you're likely in possession of the LENOX Gold Quick Change Retractable Knife and you know there really is a BEST when it comes to utility knives. Once you own the LENOX Gold Quick Change Retractable Knife and outfit it with these blades, you are going to hate every other utility knife in the world. I know it may seem silly to get so excited about a utility knife and associate blades, but I've got many, many years of frustration with crummy knives. Forget about having to unscrew the halves of your knife to reverse the blade or to access the spare blades. To change blades on the Lenox Gold, move the switch forward and press to the side. Remove the blade. Insert a new blade. Release switch. Done! To access the spare blades, press a button on the side of the Lenox Gold and the hinged case opens to provide access. Simply close the hinged case and it is closed! Also Done! As for these Gold Titanium Blades, they are sharp and last and last. As lâminas específicas para estilete (faca utilitária) Lenox são de excelente qualidade, mais duráveis que as lâminas para estiletes de outra marca. Funciona adequadamente para drywall.

個人的にはカッターナイフはオルファタイプよりも、このアメリカでよく見るタイプを良く使います。刃を長く出して使う必要がある時はオルファタイプですが、それだと刃がグニョグニョしてしまい使いにくいので結局ソリッドないわゆるナイフを使います。長くて薄い刃は発泡スチロールやスポンジの様な物を切る時ぐらいです。この台形タイプの刃は切ったり削ったりする時に刃がしっかりしており使いやすいです。 そうやって力を入れたりする時にLenoxのブレードはバイメタル製で刃は硬いのに折れにくく非常に安心して使えます。私はハックソーの刃も長年Lenoxを愛用しています。 3倍長持ちが売り文句ですが、刃先は体感2倍ぐらいです。上記のように力を入れてタフに使うのでそれでも良い方だと思いますし、タフに使える安心感で選んでいます。
