You can't beat the price, and it smells really, really good. It's far better than most other shampoos in the same price range, and better than quite a few that are more expensive.

VO5 always delivers good quality ingredients in every bottle of their shampoos and conditioners bought. This time it was strawberry. Always well received in our home. Very affordable and makes my children's hair look professionally coiffed.

When you're ordering and using really inexpensive drugstore shampoo and conditioner, you keep your expectations low, lol. I LOVE the same brand's formula for extra body as the scent is intoxicatingly wonderful. But as a gal with naturally blonde, wavy to curly hair I always need moisture, so I thought I'd try this. And who doesn't love the smell of strawberries, eh? The scent is quite subtle but nice, and the shampoo didn't leave my hair feeling like hay, which was a win already. At first I cursed the conditioner, and deducted one star, because it is SOOOO THIN it's honestly not easy to apply it all over. It pools in the hand and runs so much you pretty much get it onto one spot and try to distribute it around. Because of that I was initially going to give this a negative review and never order it again, buuuuuut... ...it instantly detangled and smoothed out my hair so it felt silky, soft and unlike anything I've ever tried (and I have tried it ALL in the past 40 years or so). It's oddly fabulous? Tricky to apply and distribute, sure, but I'm considering pouring the conditioner into a spray bottle or reusable hair color bottle because I will be using this regularly. Consistency aside, I'm very pleasantly surprised!
