Not heavy duty but did the job. I used wood screws for better bite and washers to not tighten the screw head through as the metal is thin.

My kayak handles had weathered and weakened over the 15 years I used it. These fit my Malibu Two XL Ocean Kayak and look great. Didn’t come with any screws so I used my existing stainless mounting screws. Very pleased and reasonably priced.

Still going strong after 6 years in use

Used as a replacement Luggage Strap
The carry handle on an old body glove dive bag had torn through and was irreparable. Luckily, though this was a perfect replacement. There aren't holes in the webbing underneath the end cap so this needs to be "punched" through. We used a drill for this as we had one to hand. The ultimate test will be if it stands up to having a suitcase full being dragged around.
