If you do the subscribe and save, at time of writing this is cheaper than my local Wal-Mart per box at 5.35 / box compared to 5.79 / box in-store. I have used this exact tampon since getting my period but now that I get older and the flow is heavy, I have come to depend on them. They are all I can use securely that don't leak. Fantastic product that I hope they never, ever stop making!!!

These are the mother of all tampons. Like, holy cow don't give these to teenage/adolescent girls trying their first tampon. They are HUGE! These tampons are not discreet where you can stuff them in your pocket or in your bra or wherever where nobody will notice. The packaging on them is that crunchy loud stuff that makes noise in your pockets. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE.. these tampons are incredibly absorbent and last a lot longer than the leading tampons these days that are tiny. This is good for periods of time where you can't go to the bathroom every hour or just don't want to have to worry about running to the bathroom in the middle of class or something. Perfect for heavy flow. DO NOT TRY TO USE WITH LIGHT FLOW. They HURT when trying to pull them out dry a lot MORE than the smaller tampons because there is so much extra tampon!! Other than that though they have a comfortable applicator to insert, and I would recommend it to anyone who has a heavier flow or is looking for a long lasting tampon.

If you're like me and have heavy flow, this is the tampon for you. None of the others, size and brand could keep me out of the bathroom for more than an hour on my heavy days. I can manage close to two hours on my heaviest days and a little more on the other days.

This tampon is I think works pretty well. I liked it a whole lot better until I started reading all of these reviews. Personally for me, it works great, but all the reviews keep saying teenage girls or people with lighter flows shouldn't use them. I don't think that's true. I am a person with a lighter flow, maybe a moderate flow and these tampons give me no trouble while inserting them or taking them out. It may be a bit bigger than most, but overall, it's a great and easy to use tampon.

I like the price it's very affordable. I actually caught a good deal and got them for $12.00. I ordered 2, should be good for a while.

These are the most reliable tampons I have ever used. I've never had an issue with leakage when wearing them for the maximum recommended time of 8 hours and I'm never paranoid about ruining my clothes or embarrassing myself. These tampons are pretty large, which was a bit intimidating at first, but the applicator is very smooth and sleek and is easy to insert. I was recently forced to stray from these (had to buy Kotex Click tampons instead) when my local store didn't have them in stock and I'll never do that again! I love Kotex, but their "Click" variety of tampons has the worst absorbency I have ever experienced. They had me running to the bathroom every 3-4 hours with a leak! Never again. I'm lucky that I was at home. If they don't have my Kotex Security tampons at my local store, I'll be more than willing to keep looking until I DO find them.

Since the O.B. super plus tampons have been out of stock for the last few months, I've tried different brands including some of the other Kotex products. The security tampons are the only ones that absorb my heavy period and give me about 2 hours between tampon changes. Other products seem to just "slow down" the flow and not absorb it, leaving me with spots and having to change tampons every 30 minutes. Also I'm not that big on applicators, since it seems I always have to reposition the tampon with my finger anyways and then I have the applicator to dispose of "discreetly". But the applicators on this range get the tampon in the right position first time, much to my surprise.
