I had no idea that humidity would damage my hearing aids until one of my hearing aids quit working just after 3 months. Now I protect my hearing aids with this easy to use hearing aid dryer. After charging my hearing aids, I place them in the dryer over night to remove the humidity/moisture. The unit is virtually silent and small enough to carry while traveling. I recommend this dryer to protect your hearing aid investment.

UPDATE: As stated below, when I received this unit, the power cord was missing so I called the company – on a Saturday, no less. I was told they’d send the cord on Monday and they were true to their word! Not only did they send the cord (which I received on Wednesday) but they threw in a free oximeter. Now THAT’S great customer service. I’ve been able to use my dehumidifier for two nights and I believe it will work just as well, if not better, than the desiccant I’ve been using for many years. Thank you EarCentric for a good product and wonderful customer service. I received my dehumidifier today. This was purchased as a replacement for the desiccant I’ve been using for years – I got tired of having to constantly rejuvenate it in the microwave or replacing it when the beads would no longer turn blue. I figured the dehumidifier would last longer and need to be replaced less often (nothing lasts forever in my experience). I am unable to try the dehumidifier because it was sent with two AC adapters and no actual cable to plug the unit in. On top of that, the phone number listed in the booklet that came with the unit doesn’t work. Oh, it rings through to the company’s automated menu but, no matter which option you choose, you get silence and then the menu choices are given again. I wound up having to get the number from their website. I eventually spoke to a person who really didn’t pay much attention to what I said until I got annoyed. She even had to guts to ask me if I checked inside the box. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back since the box is only so big and everything is labeled that’s inside. Whatever. The bottom line is that they’re supposed to be mailing me a cable on Monday. I won’t be holding my breath and will update this review once I’ve been able to actually use the dehumidifier. I plugged it into my phone usb-c , although green light came on it did not heat. So I plugged it in with it's own plug and it heated immediately. It's a good compact size. Good price value. The clear lid is nice, if maybe fragile if dropped.

Works great my husband really likes it

I bought this drier for my friend. She uses a pair of high end hearing aide since the cheap ones don't work. Occasionally when she takes them in for service they dry them out in a machine. Its done in a matter of minutes. I thought I could help her out with this unit. After about 6 weeks I asked her how it was working. Her hesitant response was, she hadn't used it, she didn't know how to take the batteries out of the hearing aids. The instructions say to remove the batteries. I don't think her hearing aids are designed to heave the patient remove the batteries. She also pointed out that the "RapidDry" dries in 6 to 8 hours. That doesn't sound rapid to me. I should have checked sooner I guess. Its out of the return period. This unit is worthless.

I like this dryer machine I use it for my hearing aids every night I haven't had an ear infection ever since I got this item.

First electric dehumidifier I’ve owned and glad I purchased.

I loved the first pair, and they were good for over a year and a half. This is the second time now and it's not quite as good. one is working perfectly, the other isn't working at all. I've substituted one from the first pair and it's ok, but it should not have been necessary.
