Right belt for the dryer but cheap and thin won’t last long

A month later so far so good, it fits my GE gas dryer and so far does its job . It was shipped and delivered in a timely manner in a plastic bag with the product description. I think I use the dryer a little bit more than others about 4-5 times a week so if did a fair amount in the month I have it. It looks like a good quality product, the belt thickness looks adequate to its purpose, with proper grooves to avoid the drum from slipping or not rotating properly. and I was able to replace the broken belt without any issues, thank god for YouTube and amazon , just saves you a lot of money for a simple repair as this. The previous belt held for 8 months before I needed this one, the one before was the original ( I assume) I hope this one would outlive the previous one.

My GE Profile dryer belt snapped after countless years of operation. I had this delivered from Amazon in less than a day! Installation was pretty straightforward until it was time to get the tensioner set up. It was a massive struggle with both arms and flying blind due to its placement under the drum. The first one I put on must have been a little off because after 15 minutes it snapped. I don’t blame the belt for that. So I am now on my second and after another wrestling match got it set up better - in the drum groove and straighter on the tensioner. I will see how long this lasts. I did buy 3 just to have them on hand in the event it snaps again.

This belt lasted less than 3 months! I bought it on Nov 11, 2025, and the durability is junk—much like most of the other options available on Amazon. I wish people would filter for the word 'Durability' in the reviews section, as most of those comments are negative. While these belts are inexpensive, changing them is a pain. Given the awful durability, I definitely do not recommend this product.

Worked for my dryer perfectly am very happy service was very good

I received this drum belt for my GE gas dryer on Jan 2, 2023. It lasted until today, March 15, 2021. I emailed the company and will update upon getting an answer about warranty, if any. I wonder if this belt was a one off or just poor quality all around. I will update once the company responds to my warranty request. Seller just contacted me and said they will send out a replacement for no cost. I am happy with the quick response and am hoping that this was just a one off regarding the product.

I had to do a lot of research to make sure I was buying the correct part. The original part number isn't even available on the Amana website and there were cross-references and parts that fit several different models. MAKE SURE YOU ARE BUYING THE CORRECT ONE! It took some work and research on YouTube to figure out how to install it as well. While we had the dryer opened up we were able to clean it up really well. The belt fit perfectly and my dryer is like new. I'd recommend this to anyone in place of paying someone or buying a new dryer. I saved hundreds of dollars ‼️
