Great product
I have several decommissioned Dell PCs from which I've made a couple decent gaming PCs. I couldn't have done it without this adapter because of Dell's proprietary motherboard. Great fit and quality, easy install, and compatible with the motherboard and after market power supply.

For HP Elitedesk G2 800 motherboard to new case or changiong powersupply in your HP case.
The cable is a must buy for those who have a HP Tower , I have a G2 800 Elitedesktop , I want to change the case and power supply and this cable will allow you to do just that. Now I have a gaming case and a new power supply with the G2 800 motherboard in a different case. Note: you will need other cables like the 4 pin fan header to 3 pin spliter so you can connect the your case fans. You will also need a right angle USB 3.0 adapter to motherboard because your video card will cover that connection and to eliminate the front USB 2.0 error , you will need a jumper to install on the pin header of the USB 2.0 header because the HP mobo has a special 10 pin header. Just start with this cable to convert to a new case. Then work your way to the others cable. It is worth it. Buy it now.

Almost Perfect
The cord is better quality and better price than the others, and works great in my PC. The larger motherboard plugin has two sections, one being a 4-pin, that’s a bit difficult to slide onto the other piece because you have to pull on the cords a bit to do it, so be careful. It did come with the little black wire for the F1 “Power supply fan not detected” error, but I still get the error every time I boot up my HP Elite 8100. It might be better in an 8200/8300. Still, it didn’t set my PC on fire like I’ve read about in reviews for other versions of this cord by other brands, nor did it short circuit my hardware. If not for the fan error, I’d give this five stars!

They work, with some tricks
I bought 4 of these back in the beginning of 2024 for 4 HP ProDesk 600 G1 (MT) and case swapped all 4 of them. These adapters allowed it to be case swapped.. with a little trick of course... you see if you just plug this adapter in and power the aftermarket psu you bought for it.. expecting it to work, the chances are slim to none. What I found out through a GODSEND of a forum on the internet was, you have to Switch power on the PSU to the ON position first then plug the adapter in. I know this sounds a tiny bit sketchy.. and that's because it is. But you only have to do it if you first go to plug the PC or each time you go to unplug or move you're PC. If you want to see more info on what I'm talking about, I made some mediocre YouTube videos when I was just first starting out on making YouTube videos... my name on YouTube is... ---> RyesTechWorld. Hope this review helps someone out there!!

It works on my HP EliteDesk 800 G1 TWR, sort of...
It works on my HP 800 G1 TWR, but in order to get it to work, I needed to plug in cpu/gpu/disk drives etc., turn the power supply on, disconnect and reconnect the 24 pin connector. As long as there is not a power failure, you can shut down and restart the computer no problem. But if you disconnect the power cord or if there's a power failure, I'll need to open the case and disconnect/connect the 24 pin connector to get it to work again. I'll have it plugged into my UPS, so hopefully, this won't be much of an issue, but it shouldn't work this way.
