Best Alternative Pads for Breeze Litter Box
I’ve tried a few alternatives for the Breeze Litter Box pads, and this one stands out as the best! It fits perfectly in the Breeze Litter Box, so I don’t have to adjust or worry about gaps. It’s absorbent and holds a lot more than other brands I’ve tried. I get the carbon and it helps control the odors. The price is better than the name-brand version, which makes it a great value. I usually know it’s time to change the pad when it starts to smell, but with this one, I changed it before any odor appeared. I’ll definitely keep buying these and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable alternative to Breeze pads!

Devisive?
Cats and people are different, so take this with a grain of salt. Testing these pads, without taking price into account, against the brand name and generic these pads came out on top, but with a caveat or two. In terms of odor control the carbon works great up until the point where the pads are saturated. In terms of absorbancy these pads have performed the best of the three. We have four cats, one of whom is a19 years old male with, appropriately enough, the kidney function of a 19 year old cat. In other words what comes out of him is both copious and pretty rank. We need to change pads every two days for his preferred box. If not the pads will reach saturation point and are decidedly malodorous. However the pads do not seem to flood the tray; which is a huge plus. The tray still needs a cleaning, but that has been the case with any pad we've tried. The additional use of "Zero Odor" deodorizer has been a godsend in addressing odors. Factoring price into the picture and these are easily our preferred pads. Not really a fan of the scented pads, so the carbon is a nice neutral benefit. Again, the caveat is that the smell is neutral until it is not. I'd actually go so far as to say that they work too well on the odor front as we do not notice anything until the pad should have already been changed.

Good Odor Elimination
I’ve been using the Breeze system for quite some time now. This system is great for my long hair Maine Coon. I usually buy the Breeze multicat pads but figured I’d give these a try. For my big boy, the absorb well and have low odor but I have to change more frequently. He pees a lot! So, these pads only last about 2.5 days whereas the multicat pads lasted 3-4 days. I think these would be good for standard sized cats but have to be changed more often for big boys like mine.

Last long, odor contained
Update: I started having issues with these pads leaking. Having to clean the plastic tray. It was getting really annoying and smelly. I purchased the brand name in multi cat and I cannot believe the absorbency difference. I wish it wasn't true, but I am saving money purchasing brand name as they last 7 days (or more sometimes) and they never leak. It's like a baby diaper! I am glad I stopped ordering these knockoffs. Original: I have not ever purchased the name brand, so I cannot compare, but these seems to last quite long. I don't notice odor until I slide out the tray to check or change the pad. One pad lasts about 4 days. I have 3 cats and 3 breeze systems and 1 regular litter box. Each pad lasts a different amount of time as they obviously aren't consistent with which box they use. I don't have any issues with leaking when I lift and fold them to change, even when super saturated.

Peritas Activated Carbon Cat Pads for Breeze Tidy Cat Litter System
I thought the price was a little more expensive for the tidycat breeze. it does hide the odor better. However, the AMAZON basics cat littler pads that we normally buy are cheaper and if you clean the litter box 2 times a day (we have 2 cats and 2 TC litter boxes), I definitely like this type of litter and pads, it is so much cleaner and you do not have the sand all over the house. (one of our cats is Miss Finicky and goes to town cleaning the litter box and will spread the pellets around outside the box, not sure why she does that, it isn't that dirty, I think she likes to make a mess). the TC charcoal pads cost about $.80 each. the Amazon brand costs $.62 each. 11/3/19 I bought some more of these and was asked to rate this gain. I still think they are great, at first I thought 'stick with the cheaper" but these are worth the extra money. the PAC pads hide the odor and you do not have to chg them as often. So they last a little longer then the cheaper brand.

No Odor Absorption, Inferior Liquid Absorption, Nasty Cleanup!
I figured I'd try these "activated carbon" pads in my boxes (2 cats, 2 Breeze boxes). After trying several of them, I can safely say this: I smell no odor neutralization. The activated carbon angle just seems to be seems to be hype that does nothing to stop odor. These pads stunk of urine after just a couple of days. They also got saturated much more quickly than the Breeze and Ultra Absorb pads do. Furthermore, the pads themselves are not sealed very well. When taking them out of the package, I noticed that many of them were not completely sealed all around. There were gaps where the contents of the pad can leak out. This is another thing that is not a problem with the Breeze or Ultra Absorb pads. The contents of the pad seem to be shredded material. Seeing the pads aren't properly sealed, I'm worried about them making a big mess. These pads are getting returned (DAMN, I didn't get around to returning; I was 1 day late; so I am stuck with a pack); and I am sticking with the Value Vortex Ultra Absorb. UPDATE: I forgot to change my breeze cat boxes before I went away for a few days; so I ended up not changing them for 7 days. I knew it would be unpleasant; but there was no putting it off any longer; I had to get in there and change them. I have 1 box for each cat. First the Peritas charcoal Activated Pad....it was a disaster. Not only was there unabsorbed urine sloshing in the tray, there was actually a large puddle on the floor under the box from the excess urine, which had nowhere to go, and leaked out of the tray. It was NASTY! I had to reach into the pee to grab the corners of the pad to get it out, because there is really nothing to hold onto around the edges for removal. The pad is also slightly smaller than the tray, so that doesn't help with urine absorption. As I feared, the top layer was leaking out the pad contents, making it even a more messy and unpleasant an experience, with black shredded paper falling out. As for the other box, the Ultra Absorb pad were very well saturated; but there was no sloshing urine in the tray, or leaking urine on the floor below the box. I really wish I had returned this pack of carbon pads back, as they are pretty much useless; so I've just thrown $25 away. Lesson learned.

Horrible odor control.
These do absolutely nothing to control the urine odor. I grabbed these up because they were way cheaper than the official breeze pads and they had good reviews. I have already bought more of the actual breeze pads. These do fit the breeze pad tray and they work to keep the urine contained but they smell to high heaven. I cannot recommend them as a replacement.
