NuPastels are well-known for their quality. These exemplify all the good traits. Colors are vibrant, only moderately dusty, and easy to use. I caught them on sale, SO it was a good deal.

Set came as advertised. No missing pastels. It arrived with one broken, but that honestly could've happened during shipping. That didn't impact my rating for this product, as pastels have a chance to break as you use them. Still useable. Vivid colors too!

Great hard pastel set for details and under painting sketches!!!
These hard pastels actually go on paper smoothly and provide great details. They actually are buttery soft but lay down good pigment. I would definitely order again but set will last for years!!!

Unopened but missing a stick.
These are great sticks and this was a good price but the package was actually missing one of the blue sticks. Never opened (still in manufacturer's packaging), no residue in that slot, so it was a manufacturer's issue. Very frustrating.

These pastels are fantastic. They give nice clear edges and go down better than other well-known hard pastels. A bonus is that if you add water they almost go on like paint. Well worth the money and shall definately buy again. A joy to use.
