This magnifying light is super bright and very helpful for close work. The lens is so strong that I once left it outside and it burned a small hole in my tablecloth, so lesson learned. Works great and definitely gets the job done.

Solid product - I love this thing WAY more than I thought I would. The magnification is good enough for basic detail work. Came with both a clamp and a stand (I use the stand and its very stable). It has an on/off switch, and also allows you to control both the brightness of the light, and has like 6 different light color hues like blueish, white, orange/red etc that you can quickly flip through. Easy to maneuver around and stays put.. My only gripe would maybe make the cord a little bit longer but that's just splitting hairs at this price point.

Works great for the price, only complaint is that it flickers at certain brightness and color settings. Just don't use those ones and it's great lol Magnification is far better than expected, good glass, bases both work fine. Clamp could be a bit deeper, but it's fine for what it is.

This has helped me tremendously in my t-shirt making process. I am able to see fine details that I would otherwise not see. The stand makes the lamp very stable so no tipping over. The light helps with my dimly lit room. Great quality.

I want to like this but the arms are not long enough to hold over my lap while sitting on a side table. Even with the heavy base, it still wants to tip over unless I put a full water glass on it. Biggest problem is the literature in the package says it's a 5x magnification, not the 10x that was advertised. I can use it if I wear reader glasses. And there is a little distortion around the edges, which gives a small area to actually see my cross stitch that I'm working on. I am happy with the brightness of the light and it plugs into a usb battery pack so I don't have to run an outlet along the floor to my chair. May have to return the unit.
