Silver tinsel worked best for me, but it all depends on what the mackerel are feeding on.

Are all the hooks size 4? And is this an actually size r not a 4/0

Somr of them are 4 but most of them is 2/0 but they are all still good sizes n the feathers themselves have caught me some pretty big mackral recently
