Very sturdy and holds devises firmly
This is the coolest tripod I've ever had. Adjusts to just about any position you might need. I use it for my shot cameras at the range. It's very sturdy and easy to adjust. Comes with a nice carry case and light enough it won't bog you down. And where you mount the camera or whatever is very tight and holds the devise firmly where as others I've had were all loose and wobbly. I'd buy another one if something ever happens to this one. But it should last quite a while.

Great for heavy DLSRโs
Very strong! Purchased for my Nikon D850 and easily holds this heavyweight even with my heavier lenses. Easy to adjust, light to carry but solid! Very happy with this tripod.

A Game-Changer for Photographers!
I recently got my hands on the SmallRig 71" Camera Tripod, and it has completely revolutionized my photography game. The build quality is outstanding - the aluminum frame feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence in its longevity. One of the standout features is the 360ยฐ ball head, which provides unparalleled flexibility in framing shots. It's incredibly smooth and easy to adjust, allowing for seamless transitions between portrait and landscape orientations. The versatility of this tripod is a game-changer. The fact that it can transform into a monopod adds an extra layer of functionality that I've found incredibly useful for on-the-go shooting. Plus, the adjustable height range from 16" to 71" is a game-changer, enabling me to capture shots from various perspectives. The payload capacity of 33lb is impressive and easily accommodates my professional-grade camera equipment. I appreciate the stability and peace of mind it offers when working with heavier setups. The foldable design is a huge plus for portability and storage. It's compact enough to fit in my gear bag without taking up too much space.Overall, the SmallRig 71" Camera Tripod is a top-notch piece of equipment that caters to both amateurs and professionals alike. It's a versatile, reliable, and durable addition to any photographer's toolkit. Highly recommended!

Good, for easy setup & under good conditions. With weight it gets pretty solid.
Pros: Nicely made with metal aluminum legs and with extras like the rubber or spike ends for different terrain locations. Very nice Swiss Arca plates! Thick and well made. The ability to flip the legs in the opposite direction for extra low shots (Upside down) under and in the middle of the lower leg extension's are genius!Pros: Ball head is nice. Smooth and locks well. Cons: The lower legs in my opinion are too thin. I would not trust this tripod with my $3k lens and my $3k body at full extension. I have other small cameras which will be perfect with this tripod. It also shakes a bit on a windy day - the weight I use locks it down better and prevents wiggle. Overall it's "decent" in my opinion. I'll use it, but my heavy duty tripod will still be used during times I use my larger camera.

Great Value
This tripod rocks. Stable, lightweight, easy to use and is a great price. No fuss tripod. If youโre reading this, you know deep down that you donโt need a more expensive tripod.

Very easy to use, solid construction
I am using for both taking photos with my iPhone and using my telescope viewer. It has two base attachment so I can swap quickly. One thing to be aware of: I was adjusting it in the dark while taking aurora photos (or attempting to) and it came apart. I tried to put together on the dark but one piece was not able to go back on. Strangely enough, the post had come off during the initial breakdown which I had not noticed in the dark.I had to remove the top, remove the attaching post and put the collar on, then replace the post before screwing the top piece back on. (This will make sense if you are fighting with this problem)Now I am using it with pleasure, easy adjustments, smooth turning.

My experience with 2 years of using the product.
Alright, where do I begin. I've had this product since November 2023. And it's not until today that I've decided to give the most comprehensive review possible:Let's start with the good aspects:It lives up to what the ad says. It's an ideal tripod for travel. I've only ever loaded a Sony a7iii with a Tamron 28-200 on it during these almost two years of testing. Overall, it has performed quite well. The legs can be easily adjusted with an Allen key when they start losing tension at the joint. This is important as it allows for more precise positioning of the tripod. If you don't tighten the joints connecting the legs to the main body, they will be wobbly and it will be a pain to place them in a specific position. In general, its aluminum body and paint are of good quality. I've put it through a lot of work, and the paint still holds up.The red details are a nice aesthetic touch. The strap on the tripod body is a welcome addition for carrying it with you.I've carried my camera mounted on the tripod and the tripod over my shoulders, and the clamping system has never failed.Overall, it has been a good tripod for the price. Now, the negative aspects. The plastic clamps were the first things to start failing. They began to crack with use. Opening and closing it gently can increase its lifespan, but being a product intended for travel, and thus subject to somewhat rough handling, they should be built from a much, much more resistant material. The tripod head tends to loosen. This is a real headache. You have to constantly adjust it.It's very easy to lose the rubber tips on the end of the legs. In fact, I lost one because it would always rub against a part of my travel backpack and unscrew itself. That's how I lost it.The shape of these leg tips doesn't make it very good for indoor use, as it can slip easily at times. In short, for the price, it has been a great product.Would I buy it again?I don't know, I want to give other tripods a chance, some of which are even more affordable and seem to offer the same. But in the end, and I'll say it again, it's a good product and maintains a fair quality-price ratio.Current status of the product:It works, but one of the legs is glued with silicone because of what I mentionedโone of the clamping systems fractured, which makes that first height level useless for me.Speaking of which: I rarely used it at its highest level, meaning fully extended, but in general, it feels stable as long as you use a weight on the hook at the center of the tripod's body to counteract wind movements.I'm sharing some photos I took using the tripod and how it looks currently.By the way, I'm still using it and I'm actually heading out on a trip withย itย rightย now.

A very compact tripod
This is a great little tripod for travelling as it packed into my suitcase easily. It's lightweight and versatile

Easy to use, better quality then some other tripods.
Right out of the box I can feel the better build quality compared to the last one I bought a fair bit more expensive $60 to be exact but the functionality of it is so much better.Looks better, feels better, opens better. A reasonable weight that makes you feel it is a good quality but not too heavy. If it stands up as a quality tripod, being that I am writing this immediately after receiving it and setting it up I can say this is a much better value. Super tall too almost reaches the roof of my room full size. You can get by with common sense of unpacking and setting it up time after time I can tell. The last one I bought came with a manual that had basic functions of all knobs but then had a page dedicated to breaks alone. It is much more worth it to pay for this one if you have the choice.
