This is my review of KOLIPI’s Acrylic Display Case A nice acrylic display case that comes in 13 different sizes (see seller’s home page). On a scale of one to ten, assembly is about a five. Not really hard, but you need to be careful. It took me about ten minutes to finish the assembly. It is made of acrylic, not glass, so it is a bit wobbly until you insert the clear acrylic into the base. At that point it is fairly sturdy. You also get a string of LED lights, which I am not using. You get five acrylic pieces, and the connectors to put it all together, plus a sturdy base. I am using them to display some of my more complicated dioramas, and they are perfect for that purpose. Before assembly, you will need to remove the protective film on the pieces, which was fairly easy, and then put them together using the provided materials. I will say that the holes drilled into the acrylic sheets, matched perfectly to the corner pieces. And, although the securing pins were a bit tricky, once I figured it out, the rest of the assembly went without problems. Nice boxes, and great for displaying my dioramas. I will be purchasing more.

If you're between this model and the case with slots, get this one it's way better. If you read the assembly is hard, that's a lie. I had mine together in about 10 minutes, it comes with a little USB string of led lights, I didn't use mine but saved them for later, gloves, and plenty of extra bits just in case. The case itself looks good, very clear. Once assembled its sturdy, survived a car ride and a little rough handling. The acrylic is easy to scratch though, so be gentle with anything metal. And it's a dust MAGNET, so pick a clean area and wear the gloves. The only down sides were I would prefer a gloss base, mine was matte and the case can't be secured to the base. But a little work around, you can push the extra pegs included into the gap the case slides into the base. They're the perfect size to lock it in and then have feet on the bottom. It even includes stretchy cotton gloves, i didn't think they'd fit my XL hands but they made it enough to handle assembly without fingerprints.

It's not bad. Okay it doesn't come with everything you need to put it together. Clear instructions if you don't have a brain dead moment like I did, but still clear instructions. Even comes with fairly nice gloves to put it together and not leave fingerprints during the assembling process. Size is just right for what I wanted it for VERY happy about that. The storage capacity I personally put with the size and it is just right. Gives some space without being to much exactly what I was looking for there. I honestly didn't need/want the lighting so I have it but it's not in the case nor do I want it in the case so I can't say anything about the lighting. Also I didn't think adding the lighting would allow for it to remain as sealed as it should be, so that was another reason for not adding the lighting. Also worried what the lighting might do to the item(s) inside, so also a reason I didn't add them. As for protecting the item within from dust and such. I'm not sure. It might work it might not can't really say, but I think probably it will. It seems that the edges are fairly tight so should do well protecting whatever is inside. It does take some time to put it together, and pulling off the protective plastic from the inside first seems to be the smarter way to go. Also remembering to pull off the plastic before you connect the pieces is helpful. Though I forgot on two sizes luckily it didn't seem to leave any behind when I finally noticed and pulled off the plastic after, so that was a relief.

A bit tedious to assemble but worth the effort! Be careful NOT TO SCRATCH THE PIECES......Very elegant/classy

This was actually better than I expected after reading some of the reviews here. Assembly was not nearly as difficult and the instructions were relatively clear to understand (mostly). The panels are a little thin but for the price it’s to be expected. Beware these scratch super easy so place them on a blanket or soft surface after pulling off the film. I used Sprayway Glass Cleaner on all my cases and it doesn’t leave a film leaving it super clear. The film was easy to remove just gotta use your nail to scratch away a little corner. Great value for your money. Here’s some tips for solo assembly: 1. Place the pins into the sleeves before you start. Don’t click them just slide them all together. This will make it so much easier sliding them together into the holes. 2. Assemble this upside down. Don’t place it into the base first it’ll be a nightmare. 3. Pay attention to the notches on the bottoms of each panel single notches are front and back panels and double notches are left and right panels. 4. Pushing the pins in requires some force. So careful pushing them in and use leverage on the inside with one finger. 5. The instructions don’t mention this but the connecting arm for every corner and all sides are placed on the inside of the panels and the pins push through the outside of the panels. Total assembly time took around 10-15 mins for me. Forget the gloves just wipe it down after. Would buy again for sure.

I LOVE IT! Easy assemble, It comes with extra pins, Good material, My flowers fit perfect, look amazing and clear , stability and size perfect, the lights so cute.

After a recent trip to Japan, I learned that the artist who made my Hakata Ningyo has retired. Further, the wood base that my doll came with 7 years ago also needed to be replaced, so I decided to look for new stand and base for her. this case is decent, and sturdy, but it's far from perfect. The top part of the case had a noticeable scratch the second I took the plastic wrap off, and the wooden base at the bottom had a few scratches on one side, and A LOT of scratches on the side that isn't visible. Assembly needs to be done carefully. I'm not the most handy guy, but it took me about 1 hour to put the case together because I wanted to handle everything delicately. Overall, the main reason I needed this case was to protect my now irreplaceable Japanese doll, which so far it's doing, but if you want really quality, this is mid tier at best in my opinion.

I am rather happy with the case. It was well packaged and easy to put together. I watched the video of how to put it together and that was good. The gloved that came with it were far too small for me, but I had nitrile gloves and they worked fine. I do recommend gloves. As another reviewer said it will attract dust like nothing else. You can feel the static cling coming off it. It was a little more flimsy than I expected. I was worried each time I put the pins in that the sides would break. But I took care and nothing broke. I have no idea how the lights are supposed to fit in the display. There is no hole for the wire to go through the sides or base, and it will not sit properly with wire going under the side. The string of lights is just a loose wire and there is not even a suggestion of how it is supposed to be placed. Had a heck of a time removing the protective cling film from the sides. But I didnget it in the end. All in all took less than 30 minutes to put together and it works well for what I needed.

La calidad es buena, los paneles no cierran herméticos, pero si protegen del polvo, el ensamble es muy sencillo y vienen muy bien protegidos con sus plásticos Al principio parece que no son traslucidos pero, vienen muy bien pegados y por los dos lados. Buena caja por el precio

Excelente ,fácil de armar

La vitrina la compré para posar la figura Hot Toys de la Bruja Escarlata cuya escalada es de 1/6 pulgadas y quedó excelente. -El producto venía bien embalado, las instrucciones son en inglés y entendibles. Además de que no es difícil de armarla. -Viene con unas luces que no son la gran cosa. -El plástico es bueno para el precio, pero sí tiende a rayarse fácilmente. Si quieres una vitrina para figuras escala 1/6 a buen precio es una excelente opción mientras ahorras para alguna mejor. Además de que sí protege del polvo.

A bit expensive, but good quality

La caja me gustó, llegó en perfecto estado, a tiempo y fue muy fácil su armado, quedó perfecta para lo que deseaba presentar en ella.
