These tablets work really well and it does a great job with keeping the lines free and clear of gook. I haven’t had any issues with buildup since I’ve started using these. They’re very easy to use. Just drop it in the condensation pump and it will dissolve and do its intended job. They are a bit pricey, but for what you spend on a HVAC unit, it’s worth it.

These are proactive steps to prevent future issues. I use them in my A/C condensate pumps to keep the lines clear. I actually had one plug and over flow into the basement. These are a bit more costly than others but they last longer. I also toss them into my MILs dehumidifier to prevent slime buildup and line blocking (yes that happens too). My opinion you need these at least one tab every 6-months or so, unless you require A/C or dehumidifiers all year long, then perhaps more often.

Since I started doing my own HVAC maintenance I realized I needed something to handle the downtime in the colder months. I use these in 2 specific spots that usually cause trouble. I drop them in the floor drain for the condensate line that doesn't get water in the winter and also right into the condensate pump that sits idle. It works perfectly to keep that nasty growth out so I don't end up with weird smells or clogs when I start things back up. The tabs are small enough to fit right in the opening without forcing it. It is a cheap way to avoid a really gross cleanup job later.

Seem to work against scale buildup on my A/C drain line . I crush them up into powder then simply pour a little warm water down the line anfter using the shop vac . Then put a tab on the pan . Unsure on product , but it’s got to be better than nothing.

I use this in my heat pump that the excess water goes down into a floor drain. It definitely clean out the drain gook the forms around the PVC. I highly recommend this.

I have used the foam spray for the A/C unit and it works wonderful.No rinse foam, I wiped it out after it sat for awhile.I was skeptical and now I'm a believer. Air smells cleaner in apt.I wondered why mine and the dogs allergies were acting up.No more coughing,sneezing,runny nose and wheezing from me and her.Worth buying.
