Feels like hard plastic- Keep finding uses for it.
I was replacing windshield wiper refills and one of the plastic covers cracked in a few pieces. Since it was just the cover part and the wiper still worked fine and i still have a bunch or blade refills i decided to try and fix the cracked cover. I bought this 2 part epoxy since its black in color and its outdoor use. It mixes up easy but it gets everywhere. I was wearing disposable gloves thankfully or my hands would have been covered. I was working with small broken pieces so just couldnt avoid not touching the epoxy. It sets up pretty fast. The mixed epoxy seems to start setting up right after mixing. It gets hot too. I only mixed a small amount each time to have longer to work with it. Seems to cure solid. Sticks to everything. I used a little too much and had trouble fitting the wiper back on the arm so had to sand some down. It sanded easily with a metal file. Hopefully it lasts along time and doesnt break down in the sun. I'll update if theres any issues with it. - Update: Found another use for this epoxy. Theres a small plastic bracket inside the bottom of my cars front bumper that was loose and rattling around. I finally got around to seeing what it was exactly. Looks like it had broken off, im guessing since the bottom of the bumper is so low to the ground I must have hit a curb. The bracket is normally held to the bumper cover with a rivet and since i dont own a rivet tool I figured i can install a nut and bolt instead. The problem is when the bracket is fit onto the inside if the bumper theres no way to reach around to put the nut on, probably why a rivet was used. I used this epoxy to install the nut on so it doesnt move. It ended up working great. I cleaned the plastic really well with rubbing alcohol then sanded it a little to roughen up the surface with a small metal file. I had to hold the nut with my finger while inserting the small bolt, mixed up a small amount of the epoxy then poured it all around the nut. Carefull not to get any epoxy on the bolt so I could unscrew it back out so I can then install it on the bumper. I let it cure for a few hours just to be sure. Was able to fix it for the cost of a nut and bolt. And I still have plenty of the epoxy left for other things.

Very strong, fast curing, and reliable for rigid repairs
This plastic bonder worked very well for fixing a broken part on my scooter’s steering area. It created a very strong and durable bond, and now the part feels like it is back to its original condition. Effectiveness: Excellent. It holds strongly on rigid surfaces and performs as described. Curing time: Started hardening in about 30 minutes and became fully solid after leaving it overnight. Thickness: Thick consistency, which makes it easy to control and good for filling gaps without dripping. Application: Clean and simple with the dual-syringe design, no leakage issues. Odor: Noticeable chemical smell during use, but manageable with ventilation. Size: 25 ml is enough for small to medium repairs and feels efficient. Final thoughts: Very strong adhesive with fast setting time and reliable performance. Great choice for rigid plastic repairs and definitely recommended.

Works Like a Charm and it is Highly Highly Recommended
This is absolutely the best adhesive you can get for plastic bonding. I can’t recommend it higher. I had a cracked telescope tripod leg plastic piece which needed to fixed. I actually tried to order the actual piece from the vendor, no cigar, then the entire leg with the piece, again no cigar - they wanted me to buy the entire tripod which would have cost hundreds of dollars. Someone told me about J-B Weld and said it would work 100 percent but of course, the doubter I am, I did not believe them. My telescope mount weights about 35 pounds evenly spread on 3 legs and this piece was on one leg. Took it off the tripod leg, glued it, and waited an hour longer than required by the directions - you know doubter that I am, and what can i say the adhesive/glue had hardened into something stronger than the plastic piece iteself. Just amazing stuff and again I highly highly recommend it. I am amazed at the strength of the material and what it does - go out and get some just to have around the house.

Works well for most plastics.
I have used Plastic Bonder on many projects over many years. When it works it is wonderful, when it does not it is typically easy to clean up and remove from the item so you can try a different solution. Pros: • Works on most plastics, and most materials I have tried to attach plastic to. Cons: • Doesn't always come out of the syringe in equal parts. This usually is only an issue with newer syringes but tapping the syringe several times seems to help release any air pockets inside that cause the issue. • Plastic Bonder is not compatible with Polypropylene (PP) or Polyethylene (PE) and their support recommends using MMA500 for Polypropylene. I have used Plastic Bonder with Polypropylene and it works for some fixes depending on the requirements. It only hardens to what can best be described as a stiff bendiness that breaks or separates if there is too much flexing or pressure, but it does not harm the PP plastic and is easy to clean up and remove from PP if needed. • Little documentation on specific materials that Plastic Bonder or any other JB-Weld is compatible with. Though they do respond to questions sent through the contact form on their website (jbweld.com) within a day or so. Tips: • Wear gloves. Though not listed, it sticks to skin quite well and is difficult to remove if left on your fingers for any amount of time. Alcohol, or acetone can help if it has only been a few minutes. • Have paper towels ready before you start applying. If Plastic Bonder gets on anything accadently, you need to quickly wipe it off. • Protect your work surface. This stuff is almost magical in its ability to get on everything in the immediate area. • For small items I have found the following useful: > Use painters' tape to hold the item together while curing. The tape usually releases relatively easily after a few hours and helps keep everything in place. > Using tinfoil as a drying surface works well. After about an hour of curing I gently twist the item to prevent the tinfoil from permanently bonding to the item I am working on. After an hour of curing Plastic Bonder usually has firmed up and enough to tolerate gentle movement of the item, while still being soft enough to easily release from the tinfoil. > Toothpicks make good disposable applicators and cut up business cards are handy for shaping Plastic Bonder when applying to small items. Overall, I do recommend JB-Weld Plastic Bonder. I do wish it were offered in other packaging as the syringe works for medium sized repairs, but for larger repairs the syringe does not last very long, and for smaller repairs a lot of Plastic Bonder goes to waste as it is difficult to eject small quantities of Plastic Bonder in equal parts from the syringe.

Best $8 spent on motorcycle repair
Dropped my bike and cracked a plastic piece that holds the front cowl fairing and headlights together. The piece completely separated from the bike in two places, so I needed a strong bond for sure. Using the built-in mixing tray, I applied a small amount of the bonder and held the pieces together by hand for about 15 minutes. It took around 10 minutes to go from liquid to a sticky substance, and another 15 minutes or so before it started to harden and feel stiff. After about an hour, it felt strong enough for me to put it back on the bike, but I still tried to minimize stress on it by supporting the area so it wasn’t taking the full load. At the 2-hour mark, the bond felt solid. I fully reassembled the bike, and the repaired piece was definitely under load from the headlights and front fairing. By 3 hours, I couldn’t wait any longer and took it out for a 30-minute ride, and there were no issues at all. I know the instructions say to wait 24 hours for a full cure, but this gives you an idea of how strong it gets pretty quickly. This is definitely $6 well spent vs. replacing the whole assembly for over $150. I'm going to use it to repair cracks on my fairing as well.

Strong, Reliable, and Easy to Use – A Must-Have for Auto Repairs!
The J-B Weld 50139 Plastic Bonder Body Panel Adhesive and Gap Filler Syringe has become a staple in my garage for automotive and household repairs. Here’s why I’m giving it a 5-star review: 1. Incredible Bonding Strength: This adhesive is extremely strong and has proven to hold up well under pressure. I used it to repair a cracked plastic body panel on my car, and it created a bond that felt just as strong as the original plastic. Whether you’re fixing bumpers, body panels, or other plastic components, this adhesive will keep them firmly in place. 2. Easy to Apply: The 25ml syringe is a convenient and easy-to-use applicator. It’s precise, which means no mess or waste. The mixing ratio is simple, and once you combine the resin and hardener, it’s ready to go. The syringe applicator allows for targeted application, so I could apply it exactly where I needed it without spilling. 3. Quick Curing Time: I was pleasantly surprised by the fast curing time. It only takes about 15 minutes to set, and full strength is achieved in a few hours. It’s perfect for quick fixes that don’t require hours of waiting. I was able to complete my repair and get back to driving without much downtime. 4. Versatile and Multi-Purpose: Not only is this great for automotive repairs, but it’s also perfect for other projects around the house. I’ve used it for plastic, fiberglass, and even metal repairs, and it holds up incredibly well. The bond is weather-resistant, which is a huge plus for outdoor or exposed repairs. 5. Durable and Long-Lasting: Once it cures, the bond is strong and durable. I haven’t had any issues with the adhesive breaking down or losing its strength, even after exposure to heat, cold, and moisture. It’s holding up incredibly well on the body panel I fixed, and I’m confident it will last for the long term. 6. Works as a Gap Filler: Another standout feature is its ability to act as a gap filler. The product fills in gaps between parts, which helps create a smooth, even surface once it dries. This is great for automotive bodywork, where filling in small cracks or gaps is necessary for a seamless repair. Final Thoughts: The J-B Weld 50139 Plastic Bonder Body Panel Adhesive and Gap Filler Syringe is a game-changer when it comes to repairing plastic components. It’s strong, fast, and easy to use. I’ve used it for a number of projects and have always been impressed with the results. If you’re looking for a reliable adhesive for plastic repairs, this is the one you need. 💯 Highly recommend! 5 stars for sure!

Perfect for Minor Repairs on Collectible Statues!
The Simply 50139 J-B Weld PlasticBonder in black was perfect for a minor repair on my first 4 Figures collectible statue. It bonded strongly and seamlessly, matching the black finish so well that the repair is barely noticeable. The adhesive sets quickly and cures to a tough, durable finish, which is essential for delicate collectibles. The precision applicator made it easy to apply exactly where needed without mess. If you have small plastic repairs, especially on collectibles or detailed items, this product is a fantastic choice for a reliable and clean fix.

Super resistente!
