Superb for price!
As stated in previous reviews for this product, we use this on our flat wet lap/disk glass grinder as it is a far superior quality than those sold by the grinder company. We just amend the hole to fit our grinder shaft & we are set to go with multiple grits.

Accurate grit
These work great for what ever your flattening or sharpening. Diamonds uniformly coat the surface even on the low grits and they match American sand paper grits fairly close.

It’s wobbly
It’s wobbly and has damaged many stones while polishing. It only works fine when used close to the center, but the stone is easily hit by the nut holding the disk in the middle

Higher grits fail and damage tools under use.
I have had 3 disks fail suddenly during use so far. Specifically, I’m using a worksharp WS3000 to sharpen chisels from the underside. While applying gentle pressure, suddenly there was a small lurch and subsequent scraping sound. Somehow, a piece of grit must have come loose from the plate, and caught between the tool and the plate. It then scores a permanent sharp canyon in the plate and a corresponding gouge in the tool. It is not at a corner or edge of the tool; the tool did not become caught or wedged. The plate just failed. I’ve had 2 3000 grit plates fail during first use, which made me think it was just a fault with that grit. Eventually though, I had a 1500 grit plate fail too in the same way.

Don’t buy higher grits.
Diamond coating failed on first use. Do not bother with anything above 800 grit. I have plates from 120 to 800 which work fine so far with about 10 tools sharpened. The finer grits are worthless.

DIAMOND DUST DELAMINATED FROM METAL DISC
diamond dust delaminated from metal DISC it was attached to not even 10 seconds into using the disc. large runs in the disc now. Absolutely useless for the mirror polish its supposed to provide.

More testing required?
This wheel doesn't leave the glassy smooth finish I thought it would, but maybe I'm still seeing the scratches from the 500 grit.I might have to just polish the stone more.
