Wang Thick and Chewy Wheat Noodle for Jjajang Black Bean Sauce Noodle, Korean Noodle, Jjajang Myeon Noodle, 48 Oz

For many years, I bought these noodles when I visited an import grocery at the nearest large city, three hours from home. However, during the COVID pandemic the noodles became hard to find in the store or online. One day, while browsing on Amazon, I decided to look for them. I was delighted to find the noodles, so I ordered them. I boil them in water until they are just tender and then add them to my stir fry. I love that they keep their texture and don’t become over soft, unlike some substitute noodles I tried. I plan to order these noodles from Amazon in future. It is so much more convenient than waiting to visit the city store.

These noodles are very versatile and I used them for several different dishes. I made jajangmeon and I make ginger pork noodles. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully. If you haven’t cooked with these kind before I suggest cooking them right before you need them. They turn into a sticky lump if you let them sit in your strainer. I’m not counting it against them; it’s just the nature of these kind of noodles. They are very easy to prepare and I got several meals worth out of this one package.

not much to say here its a noodle , i got these cause they were the recomended noodle for maangchi's Jjajangmyeon recipe and while i sorta followed 2 different recipies for my actual sauce these noodles were honestly pretty perfect , much better than the quick microwavable pouch for other stirfrys i usually get from the local food store. the price is a bit much but since i'll get a fair few meals out of it i'll Maybe buy them again

I tired this brand and I personally prefer it to Japanese soba! The texture of these noodles are super smooth and not gritty at all. They are also full of protein and cook in less than ten minutes so it makes the perfect quick lunch or dinner paired with your favorite sauce.

Not bad. Not good. Just middle of the road, but good value.
