Did the truck. Works great
Bought this for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6 after the original plastic one went bad. This one is def easy to install. Fit is great. Much better upgrade than the original Chrysler . No issues the leak stopped immediately.

Great part for a fraction of what brand names cost.
Installed on a 2013 Jeep Wrangler. This updates the oil filter to the newer design. I didn't observe that at first so my Baxter spin on oil filter adapter wouldn't work. I installed the oil filter housing sold my Baxter and purchased a Baxter adapter for the newer design 2014+. Make sure to use the right o-rings for this year of adapter (2014+) if replacing them. I ordered Fel-Pro o-rings to install on this housing before installation. I installed this oil filter housing March of 2025 and to this day March of 2026 one year later no issues.

It was a perfect fit. Way better than the original that was made of plastic.

product failed 2 days after installation was missing gasket for manifold had to purchase kit from local supplier reported to amazon have not heard any reply

exact fit for 2013 wrangler jk 3.6 amazing price compared to the cheap plastic oem replacement was a fairly easy install as long as you know what youre doing been using for a while now and no leaks the quality over all is really good if anything happed to break id buy it again

For the mechanically inclined
This oil cooler housing works great so far I bought this for my 2019 challenger to do preventative maintenance at 90k miles before the factory plastic one started to leak. I works great BUT, I ordered the seal kit for the Dorman oil cooler housing from Orielly because I did not trust the o-rings that came with this unit and I wasnโt going to take a chance, this job was pretty extensive. I used the cap that came off my mopar oil cooler so I could continue to use the same oil filter that my car calls for, (the one that comes in this kit looks different). I also used the sensors that came from mopar instead of the ones that were in this unitโฆ

Great upgrade to your engine
I saw a similar oil filter adaptor on a YouTube video and decided to replace my plastic oil filter adaptor just because. I am very glad I did. When I got down to removing the plastic adaptor I found it had been replaced before and it was beginning to fail and leak again. It was not serious yet, but it was on its way out. This aluminum replacement should end that problem in the future. One note: The screws, both on the one I replaced and the one I installed, are made of soft aluminum. Be very careful when tightening them down. They will not take much torque before stripping the torx heads. I had to drive a small regular socket onto the bolt heads to remove them from the plastic filter and stripped one during installation. The metal is very soft.

Quality counts.
Solid, and comes with everything needed to do the job. (Gaskets and oil filter) Only note I would add is to remove the filter and put a little oil on the seals before use. I'm sure its dry for shipping purposes, but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere. Installed on a 11 journey, 3.6l Overall a GREAT product. Thank you.

After failing other oil housing unit that I bought, this one did the job, I don't write a review right away, as I want to make sure the product meets the quality. Honestly its been over a year now and no issues and no leak.

Questionable quality
Chose this unit because of the positive reviews on here. Initial impressions seemed good until I looked closer. Very poorly finished inside. Metal shavings and casting flash was abundant. Please see my pictures to understand what I saw with this product. Not something I'd recommend to anyone. Having these pieces of metal in the oil passageways is terrible ***Follow up*** after all the prep work and cleaning of bad casting. I installed it. Started to leak after 800 KMS which got worse. The provided gaskets crushed and didn't seal. Dumping out half the oil capacity on a short drive. Added pictures of what the original gaskets in the plastic housong look like compared to the provided aftermarket gaskets in this aluminum housing. Lost all confidence in this product.
