Over the years we've tried a number of sex toys and ultimately they all ended up in the garbage. They were OK but just not great enough to keep lying around where the kids might find them (my wife' great fear). I wanted to make one last attempt and I was drawn to this because it isn't an obvious sex toy - if the kids found it, it's just a massager. So I ordered it. It was on my doorstep in 3 or 4 business days. I had had a stiff neck for a few days, so that was the first thing I did with it, and it worked great for that. I used it on my wife that night an HOLY COW did she ever enjoy it if you catch my drift. I've now had it for over a month and we haven't even gotten to the attachments yet - we're having plenty of fun without them. The one drawback is the power cord but I've got news for you - battery operated just cannot compare with corded - and that's true whether you're talking drills, circular saws or vibrators. I long ago replaced all my 18V cordless tools with the plug in type and have never regretted it. You get a lot more power and never have to worry about the batteries going dead at a very inoportune time. Buy this unit. It's great for sex. It's great for tired aching muscles. It's ok if the kids stumble upon it.

Pros: Excellent toy for repeated mind blowing orgasms on low or high setting. This is my favorite goto toy for play parties; a true crowd pleaser. The one star for value for money is because this particular unit didn’t last very long. I will be ordering another because I would have a mob of angry partners asking where has their favorite toy gone. Cons: For some reason, this purchase only lasted a few months (very unusual). This is the second unit I’ve had break where the motor and the head seem to lose physical connection so you turn the unit on and you can hear the motor running but there is no vibration transferring to the head. I own several wands (yes I keep multiple wands on hand) and some have lasted for years to frequent use.

If money is tight, get the Wahl, it's half the price. If you can afford to, buy both! They each have a very different feel and it's worth giving them both a try. If you do buy a Magic Wand, be sure to Google "real Hitachi magic wand" to make sure you've received the real deal.

I have use other wands in the past to help please my girl, not going to lie she was satisfied. But when I incorporated this wand, her body shake, eyes rolling in back of head, the pleasure level was intensify 3x from previous wands. I finally repurchased the Magic Wand Massager because the hand held vibrators were too flimsy and needed recharging every ten minutes. I am so glad that I can tighten my stomach, pelvic and buttock muscles with this sturdy massager. I was trying out smaller devices for a while that wouldn't be detected in small sequined-club purses. My plan backfired because their lightweight design did not target my muscular torso. I broke my vibrator two weeks ago. I've had that vibrator for many years. It was very sad. So, I decided to try the Hitachi out because of the reviews. It came today...and so did I. Oh....my....goodness. This thing is better than my last vibrator. Actually, I didn't realize I had started it out on the lower setting. Nothing was "happening" and I was getting a little worried. Turned the switch to the high setting and . . . hello! It is a bit noisy but nothing like my last vibrator. Ladies, I would never recommend a battery operated device. They just don't cut it. And guys, my husband always says, the best gift a man can give his lady is a corded vibrator. He even rigged a nice little outlet in my "naughty" drawer so it will always be ready. Now the attachments. I've never been one for attachments usually because they are just too small and don't do anything for me. However, the attachments for the Hitachi are substantial. I'll be using those from now on. I love my Hitachi!!

OMG is all I can say. I developed Piriformis syndrome as a triathlete, and as I'm aging, this thing is absolutely perfect. I have had, and used, mine for 8 or 9 years now, no kidding, fairly often, and as a Personal Trainer, have recommended it to innumerable clients. It's just the right shape for getting out muscle knots (tennis ball shape) AND it has 2 speeds; I do tend to use mine in ways it shouldn't be used (such as sitting on a dining room chair with it under the piriformis muscle and leaving it on longer than I should) but it's taken all the abuse, and it still works just fine. Great on my neck muscles despite all the issues from swimming. Just ordered this one for my son, a Stone Mason. Seriously a must-have for any athlete.

The Magic Wand is simply incredible. This is the original one. This wand is Guaranteed to give the ladies incredible and multiple pleasures. Yes, it's also Great for sore muscles. The only difference is the packaging. The box now says (Low speed "Wow" Hi speed "OMG") and it's so true! Enjoy the many pleasures.. :)

I purchased this at the recommendation of my chiropractor, as I have tight lower spine muscles that continue to pull my SI joint out of place. I will admit, that is worked wonderfully - at the start. The first setting was plenty, it loosened up the tense muscles within just a few minutes of use. I felt an immediate difference after using it and was able to keep my back from locking up on me: However, I only used this product maybe a dozen times over the course of a few months, and it completely stopped working. Tried multiple outlets, and it will not turn on. Very expensive and no customer support once purchased. Save your money and purchase a massager that has warranty.
