JETech Screen Protector for Google Pixel 6a 6.1-Inch with Camera Lens Protector, Easy Installation Tool, Fingerprint Compatible, Tempered Glass Film, HD Clear, 2-Pack Each

I just put this on, and this was the most painless application of one of these glass screen protectors I've yet had. The alignment jig provided here should be standard with these kits, it allowed a near-perfect install the first time. The glass seems sturdy enough and plenty oleophobic. Time will tell on durability. No camera notch made installation much easier and I'm sure will make cleaning easier, and frankly I don't care about selfies anyway even if it does reduce quality (I don't know if it does, and take so few pictures with the front camera I genuinely don't expect I'd notice a change). The rear camera protector seems a bit pointless, though I appreciate they tried. Still, the raised camera trend is stupid and will always cause a problem, and the only real solution is a good stout case to make the phone the uniform thickness it should have been (and, I might add, a thicker body would have provided room for the headphone jack and SD card slot the Pixel 8 series sorely lacks). As I said, the included alignment jig made this the easiest near-perfect install I've done. The alcohol wipe was meh, pretty dry, but it got the job done taking the water spots off after I removed the actual dirt with a damp wash cloth. The glasses cleaning wipe didn't leave any lint, and the sticky tape dust cleaner did its job fine. One note of caution, if like me you use an Otterbox Defender case, this glass protector is maybe a millimeter or so too wide for the case front shell to fit without interference. I broke out the files and sandpaper and after 20 minutes of slowly removing material from the case and checking my work, I got it to fit just right. If you look close, you can see the removed material from the left side of the case frame. I'd buy it again, though I hope I won't break the screen protector three more times before this phone dies. Or, maybe I do, if that means this phone lasts me a decade.

I bought this screen protector for my Google Pixel 6a in 2023. I am writing this review now, in 2026, because I stepped on my phone outside (don't ask), resulting in a crack in the screen protector. Luckily this product comes with 2, so I had a spare. I easily peeled the old screen protector off, and was thrilled to see that the actual phone screen was immaculate - the screen protector did it's job perfectly! The prep and installation instructions were very clear, and it was easy to install. There were a few bubbles, but I easily worked them out with the microfiber cloth and a credit card. I would absolutely buy this product again!

Easy to put on and compatible with phone cases but is more expensive and will still run into issues with bubbles and trapped particles.

Fits the Pixel 6a perfectly. Super easy to install. Adhered well with no bubbles. Install on a clean table or counter. Follow the steps and use the dust sticker! This is my second purchase. The first lasted me several years (the current Pixel is a 10!) and several drops and things being dropped on it. Protected my phone screen. The glass is thick and removed in one piece even though there were cracks across two areas. Well worth the cost.

Perfect fit. Did anything I don't like is that you did not send another thing to attach to the bottom for you to peel and push it on.

I really WANT to like this product. Installation took two tries to get right. However, I did manage to get a nearly perfect installation on the second attempt. But as much as I loved how the screen protector looked and fit, it rendered the in-screen fingerprint reader on my Pixel 7 almost completely useless (even following all troubleshooting steps listed in the comments here and on other support forums). So, I ultimately had to remove the screen protector so I could use my fingerprint sensor, rending this screen protector a complete waste of money for me. POSITIVES: Installation was moderately easy. It took me two tries (using up both included screen protectors in the process) to get it right. I made sure to wear latex gloves and followed all directions closely. Nevertheless, the first screen protector managed to still get a few specs of dust and nearly invisible fibers (from the "dry wipe" included with the kit) stuck beneath it, which left major air bubbles that couldn't be smoothed out. So, on the second installation attempt, I was much more thorough with the dust sticker, and made sure to have the screen protector out of its packaging and ready to quickly apply. Some dust and fibers still got stuck under the edges of the screen protector. But I was able to carefully lift the edges of the screen protector and use the dust sticker to pull out these few bits of dust, producing a nearly perfect install, without any bubbles or dust or fibers trapped underneath whatsoever. I really loved the way the screen protector looked and fit. The included alignment tool is a millimeter or so too low and to the right. So, this can produce a "glowing rainbow" effect on the edge of the screen protector on the top and left sides of the screen when viewed from a certain angle. But otherwise, the screen protector looked just like the bare display. I also found it to be just as good at resisting fingerprints and smudges as the bare display. When I had the screen protector installed and my phone in a case, you couldn't even tell there was a screen protector on at all. THE OVERWHELMING NEGATIVE Despite how much I loved how this product looked and felt, it almost completely disabled my fingerprint sensor to the point where it was failing upwards of 90% of the time. Yes, I went through ALL of the steps recommended by the seller and comments here, in addition to other troubleshooting steps found elsewhere, including: 1. Turning on "screen protector mode" that increases touch sensitivity. 2. Updating all firmware on my device. 3. Re-registering my fingerprints after turning on screen protector mode and updating firmware. 4. I waited a day to see if the adhesive would somehow "settle" and allow more consistent readings, and then re-registered my fingerprints again. 5. Following advice from other forums, I even tried registering a single thumbprint multiple times (e.g., registering my right thumb as both "Fingerprint 1" and "Fingerprint 2" on the device settings. 6. Deleting and re-registering my fingerprints multiple times to see if resetting them would help. Ultimately, no matter what I did, my fingerprint reader was failing about 90-95% of times while the screen protector was installed. For example, my phone would only unlock about 1 out of every 4 to 6 times I tried. The other 4 to 5 times, the fingerprint sensor would fail to recognize my thumb a full 5 times in a row until the phone locked down and forced me to use my PIN to sign in. So, basically, the fingerprint sensor was only recognizing my fingerprints about 1 out of every 20 to 30 presses. As soon as I removed the screen protector (and turned off screen protector mode and re-registered my fingerprints), suddenly my fingerprint sensor was working closer to 80-90% of the time (e.g, it was almost always recognizing my fingerprint on the first try, and maybe 1 out of every 4-5 sign in attempts, it would fail on the first thumb press but let me in on the second). So, the phone is just fine. But the screen protector absolutely ruined the ability to use the fingerprint sensor. CONCLUSION Ultimately, if you're okay with not caring about the fingerprint sensor and are fine signing in with a PIN every time, this screen protector looks great, fits almost perfectly, and had essentially perfect clarity and just as good smudge-resisting properties as the phone itself. But if you ever want to use your fingerprint sensor (e.g., to log into apps that allow biometric sign in), this screen protector is almost certainly more likely than not make it so your fingerprint sensor fails with 5 consecutive sign ins, forcing you enter your PIN to unlock your phone or password in apps (rather than biometrics).

Great product and fits phone perfectly

Got this as a replacement when I accidently shattered my previous one during a drop. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product when considering the price point. Some of the things that I really like about this would be: Ultimate value: You get 2 pieces of tempered glass screen protector, 2 camera lens protectors, 2 separate kits containing a microfiber cloth, an alcohol swab and dust remover sticker. Quality: Surprisingly for it's price point, all the individual parts look to be of quality build, and are all individually wrapped in their own protective sheets. All of them are further protected by the packaging which resembles a hollow book of sorts, and can be used to store the rest as spares for further use. It also comes with clear, easy to read instruction manuals and it was rather easy to install the screen protector on my phone. I also liked that the camera protector comes in black, rather than a previous transparent one that didn't really blend with the phone, making it stick out like an eyesore. Installation Tool: The best part of this product would be the installation tool, hands down. It fits snugly and easily to my phone and it is designed to have little bumpers along the edges so it is almost impossible to misalign the protector. However, here are some points that I feel that the product can be improved even further: 1. Include instructions for removing trapped bubbles during installation: While the auto-adhesive did 99% of its job, it did leave behind a few tiny air bubbles after installation. I removed them by removing the protector starting with the side closest to the bubbles and letting it re-seal by itself. I know this trick as this isn't my first installation, but new and inexperienced users may not know about this and how to resolve this. 2. The camera protector takes a little bit of dexterity and planning to install: The camera protector does not come with a installation tool, nor does it fit perfectly on the camera section. I assume this is due to the differences in phone cases' openings for the camera. Maybe making the protector slightly bigger and completely flush with the phone would make it easier to install. I have no idea if the fingerprint sensor works after installation as I do not use it, but I can still play games on it with no sensitivity or control issues immediately after installation. Would try their protectors again if I do change phones.

Ero un po' scettico perché la versione precendente che avevo provato (non jetech) aveva la colla solo lungo i bordi e lasciava il vetro appoggiato al display, creando un effetto veramente terribile. Questi screen protector invece sono veramente facili da applicare e presentano aderenza su tutte le parti dello schermo. A differenza di molti altre, oltre al fatto che è impossibile notarle una volta applicate, hanno una buona oleofobicità. Unica pecca, il fatto che vengano spedite solo con i protector per la fotocamera, che onestamente, a prescindere dalla marca, trovo ridicoli su smartphone, dato che hanno il solo scopo di rovinare la qualità delle foto per una molto dubbia sicurezza aggiuntiva
