A First Course in Probability, 10e

The book quality is good enough. The papers are a bit thin (see images) but the print is sharp enough to not cause eye fatigue in adequate lighting. This book is pretty popular and covers the fundamentals very well. Plenty of examples as well as exercises.

It looks completely new, Although the cover page is little bit rotten and nothing else is wrong, if compare with the price book condition is very good , i didn't expected I'll get this with very good condition, Although its used as it mentioned so, don't expect to get very good copy it depends on luck and availability

Great book on probability. Covers wide range of excellent solved problems and exercises. A good choice for beginners.

Overall performance of these elements is good Elements :- 1. Packaging good 2. Book binding is good but not best (90℅) 2. Page Quality good (100℅) 3. Content written without misprint (95℅) 4. Good for problem solving #TIP :- You can read your high school probability chapter and solve it's examples. It will increase your familiarity with this book. If you don't want to read, no problem. But you need to much foucs because you haven't a familarity with these concepts earlier.

This book was in perfect condition when it arrived, wrapped in plastic.

It is a totally new book. Very good!

I got this book to prepare on my own for the P-exam. There are multiple reasons why I'm not liking it. 1. The book is not intuitive. I should have paid attention to the other reviews. It's a series of examples that arent thoroughly explained. 2. The answers on the back are wrong. I spend time freaking out over not knowing how to get the "right" answer when, in fact, the book provides the wrong answer. For instance, the answer for Chapter 1 Problem 1a is 1296, the book shows 12096. Another example, the answer for Chapter 1 Problem 8c is 151200, the book shows 30240. (Please note I have confirmed the answers on several websites, wasting time) 3. The cover of the book reads "Circulation of this edition outside the Indian subcontinent is UNAUTHORIZED). Being in Texas I'm not sure I should even have it. 4. The first few chapters should have been very easy to follow as it's just the basic rules and axioms that make up probability. Hope this helps.
