Do the drawers come completely out so you could pull it out and place the drawer on the counter for example?

I ordered a different type of open bins. They work well for me for apples, oranges, lemons. Your question — it looks like the drawers would be removable to clean.

For the drawer ones, can you remove the lids?

For the ones I got, they have pull-out drawers. You can stack them and still have access by pulling the drawer. some other brands had lids so it would be more difficult to access the insides.

mine do not have lids, ergo not stackable

What is the difference in medium to large sizes? The picture for both show the same size

The med is 4.5 in high and the lg is 5.5 in high. Look in description by size for proper sizing.
