Chuckit! Paraflight Flying Disc Dog Toy, Floats, Size Large, 1 Pack

I grabbed the Chuckit! Paraflight disc because Thor my Mini Aussie is basically a frisbee and Jolly Ball addict, and the hard plastic ones were getting a little too rough on his mouth. I bought the regular size in October 2025, and we play with it nearly every day. It's his second favorite toy. (Jolly Ball still reigns). I’m always hunting for the gentlest toys that still fly well, and this one hit that sweet spot immediately, plus it floats too! It’s soft, super easy to throw, and it glides in this slow, floaty arc that gives him plenty of time to track it and actually catch it instead of face-planting. He latched onto it instantly and now drops it at my feet like it’s his life mission. We can play for 15 min straight with a few water breaks in between. The material feels gentle but surprisingly sturdy—he does his usual grab-and-shake routine after each catch like it's a prey and it hasn’t folded or warped. And I really love the blue color since dogs see blue, yellow, and white best; he locks onto it fast even in tall grass. Also, because it's so lightweight, my arm isn’t dying after ten minutes, which is a minor miracle with this dog. He gets worn out and somehow still hungry for more. Makes me laugh, makes him happy, and it's safe, so it's perfect! The only small thing is the orange stitching is already starting to come loose, but it seems more decorative than anything structural, so I’m not too bothered. The disc itself is holding up great. If you’ve got a fetch-obsessed dog and you want something gentle on the mouth but still fun to throw, this is such an easy win. My guy has basically made it his new favorite toy, specially when his jaw is tired of grabbing the Jolly Ball. Buy it! You will not regret. It's perfect for active dogs, herding breeds like the Australian Shepherd, Mini American Shepherd, Border Collie, Poodles, etc. Though he learns everything super fast when I teach/train him. I didn't have to teach him to fetch. It is ingrained in his DNA. 💙🐾

Tried so many of these... This one seems to be the best of all elements. Taught my border Collie pup to catch a Frisbee with this one, when I couldn't with a heavier rope version. This I've floated just enough to slow down the throw for her to understand the task at hand. There's tougher ones that end up being too heavy, and flimsier ones that end up breaking too soon, or twisting in use and those that need straightening before every throw. This one is tough enough, and requires the least fixing before a throw. It isn't destruction proof, but it can take some chomps and very nearly flies as far as a regular plastic lightweight frisbee. Highly recommended.

I love these frisbees for my dogs. They should be a little tougher though as we go through them fast. They are great for playing in the water. I recommend you make sure the tag is cut off as close as possible this will prevent the dogs from chewing there. Once the ribbing comes out you might as well throw away. They are light weight and easy to throw. My dogs love them.

These are pretty great in my opinion. They fly well, and the dogs love them. I have 2 hard mouthed dobermans and this is the toy of choice.. after the chuck it ultra ball of course. But the ultra ball as any ball, will sink into the snow and become lost til spring , so these are the winter toy of choice. They will go for any of the flying toys, but I like the soft cloth of this toy, and the foam edge is nice. It is way easier on the mouth than the hard frisbees. That said, they only last me a month of EVERY DAY use. I use these for about an hour 2x a day with my dogs every day, no exceptions. My girls are working dogs and have plenty of drive and absolutely go nuts for these. they come in 2 sizes but I like the small size , even for my big dogs. IT doesn't seem to make a difference to them what size I use , cause I have both . This toy does get wet with saliva and mud, but I am the only one that seems to bother. They seem to bog down a bit when really wet and muddy of course. They can be rinsed off easily and dry quickly. You can use this small one in the house for quick exercise if you need to ..it is so light it wont' hurt anything it hits, but watch out for what the dog will hit while chasing it.... I used to use the flying squirrel , but my dogs take the corners off them during the first couple throws, and they do not fly well without their corners. I absolutely love the squirrels, but they just are to expensive to keep replacing. If you have a real chewer that eats every frisbee toy you might try the 'chewber'. It is guarenteed indestructable when used properly, meaning don't leave it with the dog when you are not there... that said, it still lasts forever.. IT is real rubber, doesn't hurt the mouth, but is much heavier than these. Chewber isn't the best for flyte but it does go pretty darn well.. and if you have a hard chewer it will last forever..I have the chewber for when the paraflight finally gives up the ghost. Until I can buy a new paraflight. I also like the chewber cause it stays relatively clean during use and does not absorb saliva and dirt. and have had the same one for 5 yrs...it is still going strong. If you havent' got a dog that rips every toy to shreds the chuck it small paraflight is great. I also like the big ones, but the big ones are a little unwieldy when soaking wet.

I have a very active 1 year old Mini-Doodle. If dogs could be diagnosed with ADHD, she would definitely score high! (Takes after her owner!) I thought this would be great for her. She loves to run and try to catch tennis balls, so I thought a soft Frisbee would be perfect. We have several Chuck-It dog toys and this Frisbee did not disappoint! The Frisbee flys a decent distance without going too far away. Additionally, it doesn't just drop out of the sky. It also is made of a nice thick canvas type material. The outer ring, the "floaty" part is light but seems durable. (We haven't tested its "floatability" yet, but we're looking forward to sunny days at the beach soon!) The only flaw I can see is that my pupper doesn't actually catch it. She kind of just bops it down with her nose. So, I'm not sure if that is an issue with the Frisbee, or if it is more of an issue with my pup. LOL!

We got these on sale for less than $5. In fact, we bought 3. Not because we loved it, but because of the price. If you can get it at that price, I'd say it's a decent deal 5 stars. But if it is $15-16, it is not worth it, 2 or even 1 star. Here's why: The good: Our dog absolutely loves it. It flies well, and she can jump and catch it in the air when thrown correctly. It is probably her favorite toy. It is durable enough that it can withstand some chewing, but not a lot. My recommendation is to get 2 or 3 when they're on sale so you can throw one, have the dog retrieve it, and immediately throw the other when the dog comes back. That way you don't end up in a tug of war with it and it gets destroyed. The bad: It doesn't last chewing very well. We bought the first one and our dog destroyed it within a day. The edges got torn off, and the white plastic foam started falling out. I had to take the white foam out so she wouldn't accidentally eat it. We can still throw it somewhat without the foam, but it is not in good shape. We went ahead and bought a couple more while they cost less than $5, and make sure she doesn't play tug of war with it or doesn't chew it. But they absolutely will not last long if your dog loves chewing on soft, squishy toys (which I think is most dogs!).

My dog loves this thing. I have a small dog and it's perfect for him. It flies through the air and gives him enough time to catch it.

My dog loves it and she has tried to chew at it and it’s still somehow is somewhat intact enough to fly. This is well worth the investment, but I think that the next time we get one will try for one with a rope around the edge. If she doesn’t like that one, we’ll definitely be back to get this one.

My miniature poodle plays frisbee or ball every day. The paraflight is by far his favourite of the 6 different frisbees he has. Glides nicely, easy on his mouth to catch and very durable. After every throw he likes to tug on the frisbee with you before giving it to you to throw again. This frisbee gets lots of wear and lasts for years.

Après deux ans et demi de jeu il fonctionne toujours. Je donnerais volontiers 6 étoiles. Le vol n'est plus très bon mais à voir dans quel état il est, il fait toujours le job. Je viens d'acheter un nouveau pour son anniversaire, une adorable berger australien aux dents très pointues. Ce qui est "TRES IMPORTANT" c'est qu'il est bien conçu avec de la mousse pour ne pas abîmer la bouche du chien. Vraiment aucun problème. Quand il attrape le frisbee lancé à 40 Km/h et que le chien l'arrête il y a un transfert d'énergie qui pourrait lui blesser la commissure des lèvres. Choisissez donc un frisbee très doux sur la périphérie. C'est le cas de celui-ci; mieux vaut payer quelques euros de plus et ne pas risquer de blesser le chien. Ne vous en faites pas si après quelques séances il est esthétiquement un peu abîmé, c'est pas important. Il volera toujours très bien. C'est la conception qui est ainsi faite, c'est le frisbee qui doit encaisser, pas la bouche du chien. Prenez mon commentaire comme référence, j'ai du recul.
