This item works OK, however, be aware that this version sent by Amazon from the US can not be registered for the extended warranty in the UK. I think you need to order the version with "e" at the end of the model number, so that the manufacturer's stated 5 year warranty on registration can be applied. In this day and age a warranty on an international brand like this should be international, they are all made in China anyway. Not what I expected from a German brand. I suggest you do not make the same mistake and purchase from an official UK distributor, or even if on Amazon UK, supplied not by Amazon but by a UK based supplier. I have used the product, so can not return it now. Very frustrating.

Un produit franchement bluffant...le bruit reste très supportable et ça souffle vraiment très fort, si je l'approche trop près des graviers (sur dalles alvéolées de mon allée), ça pousse les graviers !!! Je l'alimente avec la batterie maxi (je ne me souviens plus des références) qui coûte un peu cher mais ce souffleur n'est pas énergivore...100% satisfait

I love EGO - have the blower, string trimmer/weed whacker, hedge trimmer, pole saw, and of course a great push mower - love their system, love the quality and the durability. Love the ease of use and quick charging of the batteries. Highly recommend to jump into this brand, and stick with this line up of high quality, well engineered and well executed products. Seem way stronger and better than Asian based Ryobi, and other ‘store brands’. Happy to support a clever American brand. I had more of a basic blower for 6-7 years, but after long deliberation wanted to upgrade the strength of the blower… this is a strong and high quality blower… Just to comment, it does use a little more energy than the more basic one, as in, the batteries deplete faster, but that makes sense, considering its a stronger more powerful wind generating machine. Also - its heavy, and kind of awkwardly so, the more basic blower was nicely balanced with the 2.5A Battery, where, this one is a bit more ‘front heavy’ with the battery, and if i use the 4.0 i have, then its more balanced, but - more heavy and awkward. Would rather use the smaller battery, and swap with another one when depleted. Otherwise - love it.

I upgraded from an older 300 CFM Ryobi blower, which served me well, but this new blower is on a completely different level. It’s extremely light, incredibly powerful, and cut my backyard cleanup time in half. Highly recommended. I’m using a 7.5Ah battery from my EGO lawn mower, running the blower mostly on full speed and even in turbo mode. After about 30 minutes of use, the battery still doesn’t drop below 50%. Great performance and efficiency.
