TempPro TempScan 2-in-1 Infrared Thermometer Gun with Meat Probe

I am really pleased with this so far. I have had several digital temperature probes. But with a new Blackstone I got for Father’s Day I needed a way to more accurately control my heat zones. Adding the infrared thermometer in one unit with the prove was perfect. This one is fast and accurate. And has helped me immensely already! Also was pleasantly surprised with the magnetic edge that lets me place it on the grill edge and have it readily available. Easily one of the best grilling accessories I’ve bought. Especially if you are using a Blackstone Griddle!

I use this mostly for my blackstone so I know the surface temperature. If you cook on a blackstone or some similar griddle, you should get one. I also use the probe for smoking brisket and pulled pork. It’s accurate and I find it pretty easy to use. This one lasted about 7 months. Not great but maybe not that uncommon these days. So I looked up the warranty and,found it was still covered. Gave them a call and after a discussion they got me a replacement. I’m sure I’m on a list saying I’ve already swapped one out so likely not again, but that’s fine cause we all know there are some that would abuse it, so we all pay that price. In general, a good product that they actually stand behind. Highly recommend.

Brilliant. How did we go so long in our lives without this! Incredible. Everything we have cooked on our grill and our Blackstone has been improved, to pancakes to chicken...It has an insert to check temp on meat as well as just the temp on the BBQ or Blackstone grill. Again, brilliant!

Works great! Easy to use, seems pretty accurate compared to my other one, magnetic is strong, display is easy to read.

I like this thermometer, and it does what is advertised. So I am keeping it. But let me just vent about the manual that is included. It is printed in such a small font that you need a magnifying glass to read it. No problem, I thought, I just go and download the pdf file of the manual. This turns out to be nearly impossible. TempPro wants you to enable all their cookies and get on their mailing list, and then PERHAPS they will allow the download of the manual. Absolutely ridiculous. The thermometer gets 5 stars, but the manual 0.

The TempPro arrived when promised. Cam with instructions and batteries. I am new to Flat Top Grilling and everything I have read emphasized cooking by temp. I used TempPro today doing something as simple as English Muffins, Eggs, and Sausage. Using the TempPro I identified the hotter sections of my Grill as well as the cooler areas. Using the TempPro I managed to have everything ready by monitoring the hot and cooler areas. If your serious about Flat Top Cooking or just beginning, I highly recommend this'

As a new propane grill owner, I wasn't sure what to expect with this item. I am so glad that we ordered it for grilling new items on our grill. I would buy this again just to give as Christmas gifts coming very soon.

Works exactly as advertised fantastic products. The giant magnets on the back are my favorite feature!! I bought this to use on my Blackstone.
