Vantrue 40mm Ultra-Slim CPL Circular Polarizer Filter for Dash Cam

This filter significantly reduces glare and reflections, enhancing the clarity and color saturation of my dash cam footage. Perfect for capturing clear views through the windshield. The ultra slim design fits my Vantrue Nexus 2x seamlessly without causing vignetting. Regarding the one star reviews mentioning image degradation and rainbows, I suspect these issues stem from not removing the protective plastic film on both sides of the filter. It’s easy to miss but crucial for optimal performance. Tip: Before use, carefully peel off the thin plastic film on both sides. Check under good light if unsure, to avoid any image issues. It took a bit of trial and error to get the rotation just right for maximum glare reduction, but once I did, the results were impressive. Overall, this filter is a great value and a must-have accessory for any dash cam user looking to improve their video quality. It won’t eliminate all reflections (e.g., from metal or in poor lighting), which might disappoint those with unrealistic expectations.

Screws onto the dashcam, perfect fit and finish, and you can just see the results for yourself, makes a huge difference with visibility through glass and overall image quality.

I’ve been using the Vantrue CPL filter for my dash cam, and it’s made a noticeable difference in reducing glare. Installation was straightforward, and it fit perfectly without any hassle. I have them on my E2 and N2X, and the filter maintains excellent picture quality, ensuring that both photos and videos are clear and detailed. It’s a simple upgrade that adds a lot of value, especially if you drive during bright, sunny days or at times when reflections on the windshield can be an issue. Overall, I’m pleased with how it performs and would recommend it for anyone looking to improve their dash cam footage.

Works really well with N4S pro and N5S. Reduce glare on the camera.

It does make a difference. If you have very reflective dashboard, this will help

I bought two of these for my Vantrue car camera. It works great at deflecting the sun and allowing recording during sunny times. The product features: 1. Good price 2. Good quality 3. Easy application It is completely compatible with Vantrue camera

I’ve used a Vantrue n4 pro with and without this lense and I have to say it is worth the 20$. It reduces glare by a lot it’s easy to adjust just turn it until you get the best view. It’s a 123 installation process unbox take off stickers and attach to camera. I recommend using the Vantrue app to see the full clarity. Great quality must have for sunsets/ sunrise

Item arrived fast with my purchase of a N4 PRO S. I removed both the inner and outer protective films and checked for lint and dust. Simply screwed it on and adjusted it left or right until the rainbow effect was gone. Reflective glare from the windshield is gone. Yet to use it in a sunny day, but time will tell. If the cap doesn't fit one way flip it over and try again. Its made to go over the lens, not inside the lens (I made this mistake). For those who say there's rainbow effects, it's possible due to the fact that if you have a window tint on your windshield it will cause this.... Or there is oil from your skin on the lens cover. So make sure you clean the lens AND the lens cover.

The product that I received seems was used previously as the packaging was open. Additionally, it is defective as there is a rainbow color in all videos which always appears if I placed it on my dashcam. But it seems it works by reducing the Reflection to some extend.

No se fija bien a el ocular de la cámara, queda flojo.

If you want to cut out reflection and glare that might interfere with sometimes critical evidence in case of an accident, a filter like this is indispensable

Product is good. From Sellers point of View, seller is charging white elephant for the product, MRP is 2999/ seller is charging almost double of it.Beware....
