SAC SMARTEN ARTS 8" Silent Quartz Wall Clock Non-Ticking Digital Clock

i bought this clock 13 months ago. works great. totally silent. haven't even needed to replace the batteries yet. cheap price - not a cheap item. why pay way more, and get way less? UPDATE: June 3, 2026 -- it's now nearly 5-1/2 years later and this clock is still running perfectly. i've probably replaced the batteries (takes under a minute) two or three times, at most. still one of my favorite clocks in the whole house (and i have LOTS of clocks). WHAT A GREAT CLOCK! has stood the test of time (pun intended!). will probably outlast me.

Very hard a find a nice looking non-ticking clock. Really like this clock. Have been using it for the past two years and it is still very quiet. Has a glass front vs plastic. Good quality clock.

I have ADHD so I need to be able to see a clock no matter where I am in the house. Otherwise I forget to keep track of the time and hours can go by. This one was just what I was looking for: small, easily readable, and inexpensive. When we switched back to standard time in November, I reset all the clocks and checked to see if their times had drifted since springing forward. This clock was still within a minute of the correct time.

I have the clock for a couple of months now and its still functioning well. I hung this clock in my bedroom so I appreciate the silent. The only cons is that the clock face is slightly gray but otherwise its very modern and chic.

I hate clocks that go TICK, TICK, TICK. This one does not. It makes a very faint mechanical sound that isn't loud, distracting or annoying. While it isn't completely silent, it is quiet enough that you don't really hear it unless you are trying to. Another interesting thing about this clock is that the second hand moves continuously. It doesn't move and then pause like they normally do. Instead, it just pivots continuously. I have this clock hanging in my bathroom on the wall opposite my bathtub, so I can look and see what time it is in the morning when I am showering. The numbers are nice and big, and I can read it without my glasses.

Silent operation, keeps accurate time, small size perfect for where I wanted to hang it. I like the plain and simple face design. BUT the plastic face covering is tinted a sepia tone and makes it hard to read the clock from any distance. The white face is dimmed considerably and you can't read it from across the room. I moved it to a much smaller room and it is working fine. I wouldn't buy it again.

This clock is exactly what I wanted. It is easy to read, nice clear numbers, and it is silent, no ticking sound. It is also just the size I was looking for, not too big or too small.

This little wal hanger clock is very nice and it is easy to read. I also like the constant motion second needle. It runs like a clock, pun intended, and keeps better to the time than any of my other wall clocks. It also fits in places that are inaccessible to the bigger diameter wall clocks. I can honestly reccomend this item!

Finally, a clock that really is silent, keeps perfect time and is easy to read from a distance. I bought the white one with black numbers and hands.

I bought this clock because of its precise pointers and electrical operation mode. I am glad I made the right choice.
