Love this kit. Would recommend
Comes with everything u need...but i would buy a few extra nail files and nail tips if u like them long...the file it comes with is small and really only good for 1 or 2 uses It does take some mastering.....watch some youtube videos and start practicing the more u do it, the better ull get..ive done 5 or 6 sets now and fixed many broken nails and and am soo comfortable using the kit now and plan on continuing to do my own naila instead of going to the salon...saves me 90 bucks a month when i do it myself I even got down how to do white tips and they looks great...so many of my friends cant believe i did them myself! A huge money saver!! Im starting to get low on the clear color polygel and plan on buying more polygel. The forms i still use and once i run out of the solution, ill just replace it with alcohol. I think the trick is making sure u really thin out the gely near the end where it meets ure cuticle...if u have too much gel...itll spill over onto the outside of ur nail or deep under ur cuticle and after it sets for the first day...it may have spots that lift or cling to hair as it grows out...and i definitly pick at my nails...so if theyre not perfect ill end up lifting the edges in attempts to remove the excess and then im redoing multiple nails I will mention that i use to always get gel naila from the salons with tips until my nails grew out the tips ....i like my nails long...so the poly gely is not as strong as the gel that made from the powder and liquid but its so much easier to apply and even if i break a nail...i just fix it...ive gotten fast at it so it only takes me 10 to 20 mins to fix a broken nail or replace it and is worth the ammount of money i save It does take me 2 hrs to do a full set but i feel as i continue to get comfortable (i also have a professional nail drill, like they use at salons, to speed up the process and am becoming very comfortable using it) i will continue to get quicker at completing a set. I also do my mother in laws naila and she absolutely loves them. She doesnt keep her nails very long so she doesnt require tips when i do her nails ans she loves how it keeps her nails strong and looking beautiful.

Stop searching!!!
After looking for over a month, this is one of the very best deals I found when it comes to how much (and the quality of) product you get for the cost. Overall, it's an awesome kit! The polygel is very easy to work with, and will level out just enough to smooth out brush strokes and minor unevenness. > Dual Forms: If you've been doing polygel for awhile, you probably know how difficult it can be to find good dual forms. These are the ones everyone raves about in their YouTube videos, so.... yassss! :) > Base & Top Coats: The base and top coats are excellent, just slightly smaller than a typical full size polish, but I wouldn't call them minis. > Brush: The brush that's included is decent. It comes with a cap/lid that doubles as the brush handle, but doesn't include spatula. It's fine for getting started, but you'll probably want to purchase another if you need a spatula or like it included as part of your brush. > Slip Solution: The slip solution works fine. It is very small though! It will get you through your first full set, maybe 2. I personally prefer alcohol over the solution with these particular polys. I've used up to 90% alcohol on these gels with zero issue. > Polygels: - very easy to work with - great for all experience levels, especially beginners because it has some self-leveling - the Clear is one of the clearest that I've ever used - Light Apricot is a translucent neutral that would work well with any skin tone All in all, I very highly recommend this set, especially if you're a beginner and have been trying to decide among all the options available on Amazon. It would be really hard to beat this value for price! *** PHOTOS: I used the same brand polygels in Soft Pink, White, & Clear for this set. This was my 5th time using polygels, and only the 2nd full set I had done without dual forms. I'm pointing that out to let you know that even if you aren't perfect, this gel is easy to work with and can still turn out nice! > The 1 hand photos were done with my non-dominant hand!

Pretty easy for a newbie
I love to paint my nails but always wish they were longer. Don't want the cost of going to a salon to do acrylics and doing acrylic myself always seemed too hard. Enter polygel! After many YouTube videos I decided I would give it a shot. This kit won due to price and the fact that I already have a lamp from doing gel polish. I was able to do a pretty darn good job for my first shot. It didn't take forever and turned out pretty good. Pros: *Worked EXACTLY like it said it would! *Many compliments right off the bat. People thought I went to a salon! *Price is great because I will get a couple sets out of this and its way less than one set of acrylics! Cons: *I just had to order an efile nail drill kit because the undersides of the nails turned out too thick and I don't have any way to file them down. Maybe with practice I will get better at it though. Plus it seems from YouTube tutorials you really want one to get these suckers off. You can do it without one but as they aren't that pricey it seems worth it. *I also just ordered some of the nail form stickers because my nail beds are apparently very flat (who knew) and the dual forms were a little hard to use as they are so curved. You can't tell since I painted them but I did the apricot gel. It has only been one day so I can't speak to longevity but I am definitely a polygel convert!!!

Like it but Will try Others .. clear Wouldn’t CURE
I wanted to like this kit as many YouTubers have raved about it. For the price I couldn’t complain, but the tubes are so little it’s almost like it’s meant for one time use. I’m glad I watched so many videos and was able to get the idea of applying the gel but it was so sticky and this brush inside the kit was a joke. Slip solution was included and needed. Now was this better than paying $90.00 at the salon, of course, but the clear would not CURE and I’ll be on the line with ModelOnes tomorrow to complain as I had read that comment before. I did everything with the clear that I did with the Apricot color, “which I love by the way” and it would not CURE. After 10 times under LED and UV rays, it finally started to harden, but by then I was getting angry. I added some gold flakes and bling for decoration and am thankful for the YouTubers who showed me to apply over extensions instead of with the dualforms. Shaping was minimal and I actually am very happy with the overall look. Yes, it’s great for beginners and definitely build from the top and work your way down. I’m looking at some other colors but am unhappy with the clear CURE time, hopefully this was a bad tube. Buy at your own risk ... I’ll come back later to tell you how long they lasted

Learning curve but a beginner diy’er can get great results
First thing I want to say is: this kit is 100% for beginners. However, it’s for beginners you are DIY inclined, and can problem solve easily. There is a learning curve for sure just look at my photos I did my first I did my thumb because it actually had a tear and that’s what I bought it for was to repair a pretty bad tear but then I thought I’m gonna have a little fun and I do extensions. So what I know about doing press, sans or gel strips is that you typically do your thumbs last, and you start your application on your dominant hand. That will just make sure that it’s easier to do your other hand with nails on. As far as any advice, I have is, I would get a drill even though I really improved my other hand there’s not like just tons of product in it. I still would like it a lot cleaner, and to get closer to my cuticle without scraping my skin off, but it’s not 100% necessary. I did get a drill just came today, so I’m gonna go ahead and fix these horrendous ones on the right side and just clean up. You know the little mistakes on the other side, the other hand. The consistency is very sticky and it is hard to work with at first. It’s hard to know how much slip to use. I kept either being too dry or too wet but at the end I found a happy medium somehow I don’t even know it’s it’s hard to gauge. If you have the bonding and dehydrator, but especially the bonding, I would not use the basecoat. The gel has a really hard time sticking when you add the basecoat on top of those two other products. To summarize, I do recommend this product to beginners and professionals. Alike I also recommend getting a drill and so far I think it’s a great product.

Great Quality for a Bargain
First off, I'm not a professional nail tech (you can see the mistakes). I've done at home acrylics since 2021 on and off because I have kids and it's almost impossible to get to a salon and spend hours there and it be worth it. But I'm horrible at acrylic, with most sets not lasting more than a week. This red set is my 4th set (2 on hands and one on toes), but this time I did it differently. I have flat nails so the molds that came were no good for me, which is why all 3 first sets all popped off quickly and were very messy. This time I did an acryclic extension with glue and freehanded the polygel myself, which seems to be sooooo much better. The nails came out thick and dried right, plus no bubbles and the product is much easier to work with and shape, especially since it won't dry until you use the lamp. A few tips: - PREP! Do not forget to prep properly or they won't last more than an hour or two (happened to 2 nails I skipped prep on during the first so I can test) - I am not 100% sure if the base coat is actually helpful, as I didn't use it on my red 4th coat, which has lasted much longer and came out better and more pressed to the nail (take this time with dignity because I noticed the base coat peeled off easily) - Have a LOT of good lighting - Don't use too much slip solution or it can slip under the light and onto your skin (which will burn a little) - If you choose to paint over, use a base coat or lightly wipe the top of the polygel with a non-lint cloth (or something similar) with a little bit of nail polish remover, because the top will be sticky and clump nail polish. - If you choose to use acryclic extension, ensure that you double seal the tips with top coat where the acryclic extension meets the polygel, or you can bet you'll get some chipping, lifting, or separating will occur during hard use of the nails, because it is known that polygel and acrylic can have adhesion issues.

No Light but Otherwise PERFECT for beginners.
5 stars because I still use it 5 months down the road. Now, BEFORE YOU BUY, it does NOT come with a light. *** The nail file is pretty much a one time use, but I made it stretch a total of 3 sets before buying a replacement. The brush sometimes doesn't want to stay whole. Meaning the cap isn't very well secured when using it in "brush mode". Not a deal breaker for me, still just a hobbyist (I do my nails once a month, sometimes twice). With that said, as a starter/beginner/learner first ever kit, it's perfect. It comes with 99% of what you need. It's not a commitment, the Pink color was classy, and super cute just plain. The clear is Crystal clear but not cute on its own, recommend not getting clear for a first timer (If you have nail polish then go for it). Kept up the hobby with minor upkeep, meaning you'll need to replenish your supply eventually but not all at once. For example: the first thing I had to replenish was the nail file, then it was the primer/dehydrator, then it was top coat/base coat, and I just now replaced the polygel itself like this week actually (bought sometime in Oct, it's March). Looking at getting more slip eventually. You really only need a few drops for a set if you are careful. My only gripe about this kit is that it doesn't come with a light and the brush I guess. Happy Shopping!

This product is a game changer!
I’m new to acrylics and poly gels, so I took off one star because it said it was good for beginners. Well idk how true that is as these took me 3 hours to prefect and I still made some mistakes. Be warned there will be a learning curve! But over all I’m happy with the product. The tubes are half the size of standard tubes but you still get a nice amount for the price. The clear gel is completely clear ( like glass) when cured, the natural color is a very sheer pinkish color, I prefer more peach in my natural/ nudeish gels but this color is fine. I’m sure with time I will get better at applying the extension gel and be able to get them done in 45min to 1 hour. I did these on Friday night and it is now Sunday evening and they feel secure. Here’s hoping I get 3 weeks of wear out of them! I tried it on my toe which was tricky. I wasn’t successful because the form lifted while I was curing the gel causing a weird warped thick shape. I had to soak the nail off but it soaked of easily with pure acetone and caused no damage to my nail. I did have to hold the forms and flash cure them before putting them under my full sized led lamp so I may invest in some clips eventually. For those saying the dual forms are too curved or don’t fit their nail beds just be aware that while fitting the forms they should lay flat around the perimeter of your cuticle but there should be a space between the form and the rest of your nail. That part get s filled in with gel and creates the proper apex for your sculpted nail that ensures it is strong and will not break. If the forms do not fit around the perimeter of your cuticle you can file them to fit better. For the price this kit is amazing and way better than the gel x dupe alternatives.

It’s okay
As a polygel newbie I found my first attempt with the nail forms to be a complete waste of time. The forms are far too curved to stay on my nails, even when using nail clamps (bought separately) I still couldn’t make it work for me. Second attempt I used sticker nail forms (bought separately) and had much better results. As you can tell from my pic, I’m very new at this. This was my second attempt took me 1.5hrs to complete and I still feel like I need to go back and touch up. Overall I feel like, with some extra practice, this will be very easy to use for shorter nails. I don’t think this would be an ideal product for long nails as the gel is quite pliable after curing and I would guess that you’d get lots of breakage or chipping with long nails. My set had clear and light pink. My pic is with the light pink and it’s very natural looking. The clear I tried on one finger and it was very clear with a tiny bit of cloudiness. The clear is so sheer I would not recommend it if you are looking for length. The pink is mildly sheer but okay to use for a wee bit of length like I have. Hope this helps! :)
