Our swimming pool does not have auto-fill and I can't see the water level from the house. There have been times when the level got dangerously low, almost to the point the circulation pumps could cavitate. I rigged up a stand using 1 1/4" PVC pipe on the tanning deck with the sensor attached to a angle brace. The very first day I set it up, the pool tech didn't tighten down a strainer basket lid and when the pump came on, water began spilling out to the point the pool lost 3" of water in 6 hours. I came home to the sound of the alarm and with the light elevated on the pole I could see blinking light from the house. another hour or so and I would have a burned up pump. First day-first save.

We have the the "high water" sensor in a waste water tank at work. Now, we don't have to get on ladder to see if it's time to call to have the water removed. I was pleasantly surprised the first time it lit up. (Not using the "low water" sensor.)

This product was purchased to monitor the level of a swimming pool after being winterized and a cover installed. The alarm can be silenced and only the flashing lights will alert, or the audible alarm can be set to various volume levels to be used along with the flashing lights. There are two sensors permanently attached. One alarms for a high level and the other for a low level. The permanent battery can be charged using the integrated solar panel or the included cord can be plugged in to a USB phone charger for ac operation. I have recently received this product so I can't speak for the longevity but this item performs as described with a good price point.

Not a fan

There is NO on/off switch to turn off or silence the alarm!!! What a stupid thing to do!! I purchased to monitor the irregular water supply in Trinidad in my water tank. So when the water level drops sometimes, the alarm goes off, I have to climb on top the tank elevated stand, pull out the monitor, turn it over and place it in a position where it is silenced!!! When water returns sometimes days after, climb again to put it back into the water!!!! I'm going to try returning it. If you are using it to monitor level, beware this isn't practical to use. Look for some other product!!

Used this in conjunction with a stainless steel float system in my waste holding tank at our cottage. I tested it out and it flashes brightly when the tank needs to be pumped. No more hands and knees with a flashlight looking in the side port to see how full it is.

Very light weight cords float around and tangle up.

I don’t like that it has the on/off switch in the back, so if the alarm goes of one have to remove it from the wall to turn it off. But other then that is a good device. I use it to warned me that my water is getting low in the tank.

Utilisé dans le regard de ma pompe de relevage. J’ai eu la bonne surprise de découvrir mon regard et ma fosse septique à déborder suite à un blocage du flotteur de la pompe. J’ai opté pour ce détecteur de niveau afin d’anticiper tout futur blocage ou soucis sur ma pompe. Si le niveau d’eau monte trop, le voyant ce met à clignoter et peut même sonner si l’on active l’alarme. Le voyant est placé sous abri, donc ne charge pas avec le panneau solaire intégré. Ça fait environs 1 an que je l’ai installé et je ne l’ai rechargé avec le câble USB qu’une seule fois pour le moment. L’autonomie de la batterie est confortable.

C'est super pour le prix en plus chaque sonde est réversible donc pour mon besoin à moi c'est en prévention de débordements donc j'ai 2 sondes en surveillance Ainsi que trois niveaux sonores impossible de ne pas l'entendre

OTTIMO

Rigged it up as a holding tank sensor at our cottage. It’s the second one I owned. The previous one lasted about 3 years before the battery would no longer hold a charge became useless. The battery is not a standard battery and can’t be replaced. I have it installed on my deck over the tank. I take it inside every winter.
