If you’re like most people who highlight their hair routinely, there are enough caps in this package to last at least a year. The cost per cap is far less when you buy this many and it’s not like storage is a consideration. So, why not? The caps are also easy to use. They’re well scored so that insertion of the hook is easy and the surrounding area won’t tear or fray. This means the highlighting solution won’t seep or creep onto more hair than intended which can result in unsightly bleached spots and clumps near the scalp.

These caps are good, work as they should. Just don't tug too hard on them because they break easily on the sides. Great value for how many you recieve for the price.

They’re high quality caps and have an extra layer of lining. However there is no no protective neck cover as stated and shown online. The package even reiterates the same thing. I had to correct my review. Apparently 2 of the 12 were missing the protective neck cover. They do work great. Easy to puncture and absolutely no bleach bled back thru the cap.

The only thing I really liked was the longer plastic in the back for long hair. No, this cap is actually worse than the one with the highlighting kits. It doesn't provide areas to highlight and the caps and kits hurt your head. Half way through the process, I took it off and said no more, I did attempt to use the highlighting kit one as well, but no, for long hair you foil or frost free hand. That is it. Too much pain and too much hair loss as a result of the process. I would love to have recommended, but no. I did do my hair like I would a hair color, which was ok, not perfect, but word to the wise and mine was fortunate, time your hair. I was half of what I normally take free hand. Seems a highlighting kit works much faster when the cap is not used, protect your ears with a lubricant. One may come in the box and if not perhaps use one from a hair dye kit if it is left over that you would use on the roots of your hair like creme excellence by loreal. Make sure you get your front and near the ears really well, mine on that area needed to be on longer. So if you don't like pain or damaged hair from caps, use foils or do free hand and watch your timing. I don't recommend this cap or any others. I have never found them to my liking. If you want to do just the crown, or sides, then I would say a cap is alright, but not the whole head. That is torture and a tired set of arms.

Great deal on streaking caps, these will last me a long time. I dye my natural blonde hair with dark brown dye, use Olaplex 3. Then I use the cap to streak my hair with bleach, to then cover with bright colors from Pravana and Arctic Fox. These type of caps have worked well for my short hair for years. This one has a plastic piece down the neck in case you have long hair and need to protect your neck.

Did NOT think this would be my opinion, bought these as a just in case but.....they work easier than the magic cap for me and I am a complete newbie to caps. The magic cap made my head sweat and hair start to knot easy. It also was very hard to tell exactly where I was pulling from at times. These bonnet caps worked great (made me look like a dork) and didn't need to be exact. I also could use an unused one for covering my oleplex after, then it was still usable for the next highlighting session. I also wash the ones I highlight with last and use that one to cover my bleach my next time around. They stack perfectly on one another, keep the moisture and heat in. This was is comfy, doesn't make a message and allows me to get a little extra use out of them.

I am a hairstylist and I have been using these caps for about a year and they are great!! They come with 1 metal hook of good quality. Fits a medium sized woman's head well. Will not fit a large head.
