Winsome Taylor Drop Leaf Table with Wide Drawer, for Dining Room, 29", Walnut

I was able to assemble the table by myself. When I discovered a screw (fastening the top to the leg) did not align with the hole (and that I accidentally scratched the table-top surface), Ana at Winsome--at her idea-- arranged a new table top to be sent to me--free of charge! I will be using this as a sewing table and it has more-than-adequate room for my machine and work surface and a handy drawer for supplies. It is a lovely piece of furniture and at such a good price for a comparable piece anywhere else. It is sturdy, pretty and when the top leaf is folded down, it is quite compact and takes up little space in the room. All in all, this is a great bargain and a great company to do business with. I bought this table for a small room I use for my sewing. The room already held 1 large bookcase, 2 antique dressers, 1 sewing machine table, 2 chairs and 1 pole lamp. Because the room was already pretty full, the fact that this table could fold down into something smaller when not in use was a real plus. Until I found this table, I was considering a similar table at Ikea for a roughly comparable price, but it had a laminate finish. This table is solid wood. Reviewers of the Ikea table complained about the level of difficulty and the amount of screws needed to assemble it. Not so with this table. My husband assembled it and said it was pretty easy to put together. He did note, however, that it was missing several screw holes. Also, the bottom shelf of the drawer is some sort of heavy duty cardboard. The table is very level, no wobbling at all. Overall, it is a very attractive, well built table and I am very pleased with my Amazon purchase. I would definitely buy it again.

What to expect; the box is big and heavy. It takes two to easily put together. Getting it out of the box is hard to do because it is the best packaged item I've ever bought. The directions are basically well done line drawings but you have to look carefully at the pictures to determine what is front and what is rear. Before you start, make sure you make sure all parts are there and there are enough of them. There is a parts number to call if you need more. But all our parts were in small plastic packages, all the right number and all high quality- not the screws that break as you're screwing them in. The top of solid wood is heavy. With two people though we got it together with only a couple of minor problems. In the end you have a really solid little table. I wanted it as a sewing table that I could stuff back in the corner when I don't need it. It is made from fine grained and very solid Thailand para wood and finished in a walnut stain. The Para tree is the latex (rubber) producing tree. After 30 years of so when it ends producing latex they used to cut them down and burn them. Now they have begun to turn them into high quality furniture. When closed it is small and innocuous but is a heavy duty little dynamo capable of sewing on or whatever. If you need more room you pull the sides backward until they hit a stopper. It has a diagram of how much weight can be put on each part and it's substantial. As far as a sewing machine table , it's perfect, and just the right height and lots of legroom. It was worth the effort and I would buy another one if I needed it but I will be giving my delivery people a break. I love that it's made from a resource that once would have been burned. The only problem I have with it is I'm not partial to dark walnut stain and would like a choice in stains but even though I am very happy with this little Thai table.

This table is wonderful. We got it for our small library. My husband put it together with ease and we love the look. It fits perfectly in front of the window and looks great. Today my grandkids were over and we moved the table to the center of the room to play bingo. It gave us plenty of room to play the game and was easy to move and set up the leaf. I gladly recommend this table. (UPS actually left this at the bottom of our driveway leaned up against a tree. We had about 2 to 3 inches of snow. We'd been in and out of the driveway, so it was certainly easy travel. Question for Amazon: If someone stole this, would it be replaced at no charge to us, the customer? UPS gets Zero Stars on this one.)

I am pleased to receive quality products. Assembling them was not easy but steady won the race. They look great and fit perfectly in my home dining nook and office space.

This is a very nice table for the money. Seems sturdy enough. Looks nice. It was easy to assemble. It's great for small spaces such as apartment living, but has uses for a home too. Folded down, it is only just over 15" wide. So it saves space when you want it to. Folded out, it makes a good dining table for two adults, or two adults and two children. You could fit three or four adults. It would be a little cramped, but doable. I like it's versatility. It's light enough to fairly easily move it around. You can move it in front of the couch like a big TV tray, or move it to the bedroom for a small work station. Be sure to inventory all your parts when you get it. Mine was missing a couple of pieces, but it was no issue. They shipped them quickly. Very happy with my purchase. Now I need a couple of folding matching chairs!

This little table is wonderful. It looks exactly like pictured on line. It is very easy to assemble and goes together quickly as you just have to attach the legs. It is very stable and does not wobble. It is perfect for small spaces. It arrives in a flat box and all the hardware needed to put it together is included. The packaging was adequate to protect the product during shipping. This table is made of solid wood there for it does have a bit of weight on it. But that's a good thing. For the price this table is a great value.

The table was received damaged on the table surface. (Some scratches). We needed it right away so decided to assemble it anyway. It fit perfectly in the space we needed it for. The damages were due to the delivery company. Overall, it’s a great fit for our purposes.

Overal pretty solid table. The legs are a little hard to separate initially, and there was a small crack on the left side of the table (not sure if this was a product flaw, or happened during shipping), but it isn't that noticeable from afar. This table works perfectly for small apartment/ condo settings; I have this in my den now, and its versatility from a full to the half table really helps.
