Exceptionally cool product you have switch that somewhere completely out of the way just doesn’t make sense at all, just wire the sensor up to the power on the switch that you don’t want to use and the wireless switch you can place anywhere you want and it works perfectly. Not hard to hook up at all

I was skeptical that a wireless switch would actually have enough range, but this SURAIELEC kit is rock-solid. It picks up the signal perfectly through obstacles, including my cupboard door. It feels like a permanent, hardwired switch but took me minutes to install. Highly recommend for any DIYer.

I had two lights in my basement that turned on and off with the same switch. Because I wanted to install a ceiling fan I needed to find a way to separate them. The SURAIELEC Wireless Light Switch and Receiver Kit seemed the best option at a reasonable price and would prevent the necessity of doing a lot of electrical work or replacing fixtures. While I am very pleased with the end results my husband did tell me that because of too-short wires the job took longer than it should have. A couple of inches more would have made this a 5 star product since it's been functioning great since install in August 2025. Also, the wall switch even when properly mounted is slightly unstable and is a little too easy to inadvertently lift off its mounting. At the time I ordered it this product was $17.98 which seems an okay value for the money if you are prepared for a little frustration with the wire lengths.

I have a very strong security light mounted next to a basement exit. I wanted maximum light for the area, but there is a deck built over the top of the light. There is never enough ambient light to activate the photo sensor, so the light stays on 24 hours per day. Not wanting to go up and down stairs everyday to turn the light off, I did some research. This wireless light switch is exactly what I needed to remedy the problem. I mounted a box next to the light and put the receiver in that box out of the weather. The remote switch is on the floor above the basement, and with no effort or delay at all, I can turn the light off and on with just the flick of the switch. The price of this wireless kit is remarkable for what it can do in cost savings of not only the power to run the light, but by not having it on 24 hours the service life is extended. Minimal knowledge of electrical wiring is needed to install this as a DIY project. I hope that it last for several years. With a 15 amp rating, it is capable of controlling a lot of items from 100 feet away. I highly recommend this brand based on price at this point. A few months of cycling the light will address the durability.

Needed screws loosened. Button was off. Now works great. Simple install. Keep it simple. Replaced switch located in adjacent room. Saves me time. Wife loves it. Awesome!

I ordered this to replace an "ancient" Heath-Zenith wireless switch I installed in my garage many years ago. I had forgotten that the old switch did not require a neutral wire, and that there was not a neutral wire available in the switch box. The unit was therefore useless to me for this purpose, but fortunately I found a completely different use for it where it is working well. When I went back to the Amazon page I noticed the small print "There is a newer version available" notice where it stated that the newer model did not require a neutral wire! I certainly would have have purchased that one, even though it is more expensive. My gripe with Amazon is that it is NOT a newer version, it is a completely different unit in construction, appearance, and packaging.

If you need to put a light somewhere normal, and have now lost your old placement for your switch, This is your product! Works great. Easy Instalment. Put your switch anywhere, I mean within reason. Dont hide it in your stove. Will fit i side standard 3.5 box, hex, with some wire persuasion or mount on the exterior of the light hex box if you want. Pretty low vis. Good product after month 2. Lol.

I saved so much money with this by skirting having to redo the electrical in the house. This was super easy to put in and it works perfectly. I have no idea about longevity but if it lasts then this is awesome.

The item looks good, the has not been installed yet. The instructions could be better. I will contact the seller via email to get further information. My installation is unique and I am awaiting their answer. Jan
