I just think I received a lemon of a product. It stopped working after about 20 mins w/brand new batteries in it. I was going to only give 1 star but.....I had one at least 8 years ago. My cats just loved it. And it's just fun.

The first one was for 2 of my great grandchildren. We all loved it.It’s adorable, so cute that I bought another one to keep around the house.Unfortunately I’ve had the second one for a couple months and just opened the box today.Well it was used. The screw does not hold, the hamster is also a little soiled, perhaps well loved.The packaging was very good, very little use.I am disappointed, however it works, so will keep. But thought you should know this.

I bought this when my son was 2 and he loved it, 2 years later the hamster finally died and i just bought him another one so heres everything you need to know!• There is no volume control and the first unit i had was super loud (the second wasnt as bad), i hated it but my son loved it so not much you can do except wait for the batteries to die amd give it some time in between putting new ones in.• Eats through batteries like no ones business. This is very true so plan ahead and just buy rechargeable batteries.• Very durable, with having the first hamster for 2 years im suprised it held up. My son would drop it all the time and play rough with it and still talked up to the end the motor assembly went out a year prior.• Overall im very happy with this purchase i just wish they would turn it down a bit, theres a lot of complaints about this toy but some people seem to be unpleasable.. its a $12 toy if you expect more then stop being cheap and go spend more on another toy/brand.

the kids had fun with it for a short time. It worked but It didn't hold up to well to ruff play - but I didn't expect it to. It was just a fun gift that made the kids laugh. They enjoyed it but for me, it was hard to listen to the high pitch of the hamster voice

Completely useless toy. The seller of this product moved to a new manufacturer. The new supplier is terrible. Save your money!Do yourself a quick favor. Look at all the positive reviews. Check their dates. Notice that all of the positive reviews are from 1-3 years ago. We still have 1 of these hamsters from early 2020, and it's great.The new ones are terrible. They are lighter colored and less soft. The worst part - you have to yell at the thing for it to pick up on your talking. And even if you yell, it will only hear the last part of what you said. For example, if you yell "Hello Hamster!" it will play back, "ster." Last syllable only.I tried to give the seller the benefit of the doubt that I was sent a faulty one. Unfortunately, the replacement RMA one is exactly as bad as the one they had sent out 2 weeks prior.And that concludes my rant on a $20 "talking" hamster.

Es feo y de mala calidad, definitivamente en la foto se ve mejor... pero a mi hijo si le gusta mucho, por eso nos lo quedamos.

The toy itself is good so far. However, within 10 mins of opening it, the eye fell out which is a major choking hazard! It seems the other one is glued in properly as it doesn’t budge. So just be careful if you have small children playing with this!
